This is also called the "quickening" stage of cat pregnancy as the fetuses start to move. She'll roll and stretch and start to search for a spot to give birth. This is another good reason to keep your pregnant cat inside so that she doesn't make a nest outside.

I have done this many times.I have a cage (fairly large) that I put a litter pan and toys and a small towel hammock.Put it in a location that the kitty can see and hear you and your daily activity.Talk to it and spend time hanging around the cage talking in a soothing manner.Slowly begin to try to interact with a toy.Take the kitty out a few times a day and hold it.(sometimes you need a good glove for this!) Dont use the glove to long or it will scare the kitty. I have found it does not take long for them to enjoy the love and companionship over their fear.It generally takes me about 3-4 weeks for total trust.Be PATIENT!! a cats life is the exactly the same as ours so please don't treat them differently, they are very cute and soft they bury there own mess and they can't talk like us but they do talk in meaw language.

cats can interact with humans by waging their tails, purring, or even looking at you with big eyes.

There can be a number of causes for diarrhoea in a cat. The most common ones are changes to the normal food, the food isn't agreeing with the cat or is being given human food too frequently. Even stress or a change in environment can cause diarrhoea in some cats, such as moving furniture around.

Bland food is very easy on the stomach. Plain cooked chicken (tiny amounts of rice are often recommended also, but are not compulsory) helps calm the cat's stomach, and should be fed for a few days, or until the cat's bowel movements are back to normal. Cooked white fish can also help.

In addition to plain foods, malt pastes such as "Pro-kolin" are also very effective. This should be available at your local vet and in some pet shops. Malt pastes encourage beneficial bacterial flora in the cat's stomach and gut, which help calm the digestive system. Most cats like the taste and will lick this off a finger.

It is imperative that you get your cat to drink as much as possible during this time. Diarrhoea is very dehydrating which can cause even more problems (and quickly can become fatal in kittens). Adding a little chicken stock (the juice the chicken was cooked in) into the cat's water, or enticing it to drink some kitten or cat milk usually works.

If the diarrhoea has not cleared up in two or three days, take the cat to the vet.

My own cat used to be feral before I made him an indoor pet. Now, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by your question, but I will try to explain some things.

Feral cats will not be very friendly toward humans if they aren't treated well or even in contact with humans at an early age. However, some feral cats might be friendly simply because their parents were.

If you want to make your cat an indoor cat, go slowly. Bring him in for short periods of time, but let him out when he wants to go. He might get used to or even like coming inside, but with some cats, they aren't willing to let the outdoors go, so don't force them.

While going through these stages, refrain from scaring them, even if they do something like scratching the furniture. If you hit the cat, they might not come back when you let them out. Plus, this behavior might be a result of anxiety from being kept inside, away from what they've always known.

By far the best solution to population control in feral cats is a Spay and Release program.

Feral cats are well equipped to take care of themselves, especially when they bond together into "colonies". Humans can make their lives easier by feeding them regularly, or capturing them to take to the vet when they need medical care. Feral cat agencies are very useful in coordinating this kind of effort, and providing resources for free vet care.

Of course, the easier their lives, the more they'll reproduce - if they're not spayed. So any responsible feral cat agency has a spay/neuter program. In Berkeley, cats have a triangle-shaped notch in their ear if they've been spayed (it is done while they are under for the surgery and does not hurt them.) So that way, people know which cats still need to be captured and brought in for the procedure.
