WORKING FROM THE FRONT; YOU NEED A SIZE 17 SOCKET ON A TBAR.THE ALTERNATER IS ON DRIVER SIDE AT THE BACK.THERE ARE THREE BOLTS TO LOOSEN (DONT TAKE THEM RIGHT OFF) . PULL THE ALTERNATER TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE CAR, SLIP BELT OVER CRANK PULLEY THEN OVER ALTERNATER PULLEY .LEVER ALTERNATER BACK TO TIGHTEN BELT,THEN RETIGHTEN 3 BOLTS

Under the carpet in the boot of the car there is a tool kit sitting on top of the spare wheel. There is a small cylindrical plastic piece with a female hex fitting in it. On the rear pillar above where the seat belt comes out there is a circular plastic piece that you pop off. Carefully put the hex end of the tool into the hole and inscrew the nut inside. There is another nut about level with the boot sill inside the boot. Remove the cluster and unclip the wiring, remove the back of the cluster with the screwdriver. Change the bulb and reassemble. Easy enough but the nuts can be fiddly.

Either mask the dipping portion (ie with a kit for headlamps that dip to the right) or if its permanently going to be used driving on the left get some replacement headlights either new or used.

A seat belt in a Saturn might be stuck because there is also something else stuck in the latch. Use a small pin or crochet hook to probe around the outside part of the latch. Once the seat belt is unlatched, clean it out with tweezers and spray both ends with WD-40.

u must unscrew spedo facia then you will see more screws there is two different sizes of bulbs

good chance the fan belt is slipping when driving may need tightning up this wouold cause a screeching noise.

You Take the mesh cover off which is where the speaker is behind. you then unscrew the speaker and remove the cable from the back and swap it with an aftermarket one if you want better quality sound

Purchase a Purolator Cabin Filter. They come with complete instructions.

It would not likely be cost effective to convert the transmission. It would cost several thousand dollars, but it is doable.

ide say if u turn the bottom pully then make it so the piston is at the top of the head

and he top pulley is in the 3 oclock position u cant go rong and the bottom pulley there is no need to set it up to the timing as this has a little nib sticking out wich the pulley wheel is held in place by bolts on and the little nib

The process is reasonably simple. The only equipment needed it simple jacking equipment, basic mechanics tools (spanners and sockets etc) and one specialist tool. The specialist tool is a universal clutch alignment tool (About £10 form any motor spares shop). It's better to have two people for moral support and someone to make the brews

First remove passenger side wheel (for RHD cars). Take out bolts attaching the swing arm to the sub-frame. This will allow you to remove the drive shaft from the gear box.

Now start on the Top. Remove the battery and battery tray. Remove clutch slave cylinder, and pop off the reverse gear linkage. Loosen the forward gear linkage and cable tie everything out of the way.

Removing the bell housing. Support the gear box with a jack. Remove bolts connecting the G-Box to the sub-frame. Remove all bolts around the bell housing including the nut at the back and three small ones holding the dust cover on at the back.

Slide out bell housing (relasing the clip on the drive shaft) 2 people will be needed for this, and replace clutch and bearing (The entire assembly should be replaced - usually about £45 for all three parts).

Reverse the process to re-fit the components. Once everything back in, make sure you have a full range of movement in the gear stick to allow you to select all gears.

A 1996 Punto 55 uses a single point (non-direct) fuel injection system. Later models adopted a multi-point injection system but none of the Fiat 1.1 engines use direct injection.

It doesn't have OBDII, I think that's why you can't find it. You can check the code by turning the key on and off 3 times within 5 seconds. The code will flash at you using the "check engine light". Long pauses in between indicate flashes seperates the different codes.

It would be good if you stated what kind of car and trans you have. It can be either engine or trans mounts especially if it is front wheel drive. Have it checked out. GoodluckJoe

The fuse box diagram can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box. The fuse box is located in the engine compartment.

they only have one as do many modern small cars such as the ford KA

go to the dealer i just cracked mine when trying to it never seen anything put together so shoddilly

Could be that your battery is tired and wants changing ?

Expensive item @ $65.00 though. My car does the same thing when it is low on fuel. Punto gauges are poor quality.
