What is the secondary triad in art?
What they've always taught in school was: the primary triad is red, blue and yellow the secondary triad is orange (red plus yellow), purple (red plus blue) and green (blue plus yellow). In reality, the primary colors are NOT red, blue and yellow. They are cyan, magenta and yellow. If you use these colors as your primaries, the secondary triad is red (magenta plus yellow), green (cyan plus yellow) and blue (cyan plus magenta). Red, green and blue are also the primary colors of light, which gives further credence to the fact cyan, magenta and yellow are the primaries--cyan absorbs red light, magenta absorbs green light and yellow absorbs blue light. And finally, I can almost guarantee your printer (assuming it's color) does NOT have red or blue ink in it, but it does have cyan and magenta ink.

How do you make a half and half picture of photo shop with you and the joker?
I assume that you want a single picture in Photo Shop with one picture (you) on one side and another picture (the Joker) next to it. Start with the two separate pictures open. Use the 'Image/Resize/Image' function to make both of the pictures the same size (for example 10cm by 10cm) and the same resolution (for example 300 pixels per inch). The actual size and resolution will depend on what you want to do with the result and the size of your original pictures. Go to one of the pictures and click 'Select/All' then on 'Edit/Copy'. Now go to the other picture. Click 'Image/Resize/Canvas'. There is a box showing the current picture width - as you set it above - change this to double - ie if you set 10 cm change it to 20cm. Do not change the height. Below this is a box with nine squares - the centre one is white - click the square to either the left or right of the white square which will move to where you clicked. Click 'OK'. You now have one picture with a blank area next to it. Use the rectangular selection tool to carefully select the whole of the blank area. Now click 'Edit/Paste' and your other picture should appear in place of the blank area. You now have your two original pictures in one picture 'half and half'.

Do hatched and cross-hatched lines define value and texture in a work of art?
Cross hatching can be used as a tool to produce value when used correctly. The concept is that the more lines are overlapped over each other the darker the area is, and so a gradient can be achieved. Texture is not as dependent on cross hatching and more dependent on the type of mark making is being used.
1/6
Why?
.125 times 2 is 25, 25 times 3 is 75, so 3 X 2 = 6
===================================
Really, to answer the question we must formulate an equation,
what percent of .75 IS .125 can be expressed:
.125 = .75 * P (Where P represents the percent)
So a simple re-arrangement and we get:
P = .125/.75 = .166666666666 or rounded to 16.67%
which is what the question was really asking
Could also have gone 1/8 divided by 3/4 = 1/6 = .1666666666=>
