I know for a fact it is in the pepperoni used at the Sedalia Missouri store. I had a reaction after eating it. It could have been they ran out of pepperoni and purchased some locally that was not MSG free. Either way I definitely had MSG poisoning from eating it. Once is all it takes for me. I will never spend my money twice at any restaurant that has it in there food. There are plenty of places that don't allow this poison in there food.

Reduced fat milk does not have MSG. Why would it? MSG has a distinct flavour which is why it is used in foods. If salted milk tastes good, then it has MSG in it.

MSG is classified by the FDA as an excitotoxin, a dangerous neurotoxin that shrivels and kills brain cells and has been linked to causing seizures, migraines, heart palpitations and even cancer, amongst it's many symptoms.... in people! Never mind your dog, YOU should be avoiding MSG!

It's definitely one of things you should not feed a dog, but MSG isn't something you eat straight out the bag like potato chips. It's an ingredient in MANY human foods, and probably pet foods (MSG goes by 40 different names!). Unless the dog (or person) happens to be sensitive to MSG, eating something that contains MSG probably won't do any harm, though it's best avoid potentially harmful substances, both in foods we give to our pets, and for ourselves.

I believe my aches and joint stiffnes are aggrevated by intake of foods high in MSG, such as donner kebabs, Chinese style spare ribs.

I have no proof of this, only more pronounced discomport/pain and stiffnes after consuming the above foods, this usually occurs within 24/36 hours after eating.

On a website, making people aware of the side effects of MSG, that soy sauce also contains MSG, I regularly take this with my food..
