What do you do if you accidentally put laundry detergent in your Ford Falcon radiator?

You'll need to drain and refill the car's radiator. I might recommend flushing the radiator as well to remove all traces of soap. Most auto-parts stores carry a flush n' fill radiator kit for under $20, the only other thing you'll need is a bucket to catch the soapy antifreeze coming out and a garden hose to hook up to the radiator. The hose water blasts out all the rust (and soap) from the radiator system. Then you just refill it with 50-50 mix of antifreeze and water. Don't buy the premix; it's a ripoff. Mix it yourself. It's a good idea to do this anyway, every couple of years as maintenance. The Falcon is an older car, so it shouldn't have any surprises. Instructions are included with flush n' fill kits.

How do you get to the fuel pump on a Ford Falcon EL?

It's in the boot. lift the carpet and there will be a metal plate hekld dont by about four screws. lift that up and it will expose the access point to the fuel tank. to get the pump out you have disconnect the fuel lines, electrical plug and undo the clamp a little bit. you will need to make a tool to unscrew the plastic ring holding the pump in. once the ring is off, the pump will come out. just need to riggle it out. be careful because the fuel gauge level indicator is part of the fuel pump assembly.
