Is the 2001 ford focus se a good pick for a used car?

Check the JD Powers ratings in the provided link- it's an average car. Only buy if you can snatch it up for a good price (check out the link for a value estimate) and you get a mechanic to look at it- Fords aren't "bad" cars, but they don't last as long as a Japanese car would last without having repairwork needed.

If a 2001 ford focus turns over but doesn't start and jump starting it won't work what's wrong?

You need 4 things for an engine to run. An unobstructed air source, compression, good fuel at the right time, strong spark at the right time. You are missing one or more of those things. If the engine is spinning over real fast without any resistance, you might have no compression, which could be due to the timing belt having jumped time. You could have no fuel pressure, due to a bad fuel pump. You could have no spark due to a bad coil. You could have no injector pulse due to a bad PCM or some other problem with the engine control system. Check air intake, fuel and fuel injector pulse, spark, and compression. Find out what you are missing, and you will be able to narrow it down to what sub-system is causing the problem.

2005 Ford Focus will not idle?

Change the fuel filter, back by the right-front corner of the fuel tank.

***********

They said it won't idle, but didn't say it won't run at speed. Assuming it runs ok at regular road speed, then it's getting adequate fuel supply and a plugged fuel filter is not the cause.

It would be a waste of money to replace it. Dirty MAF sensor or faulty O2 sensor(s) are much more likely causes of poor idling.

Bad plugs and wires will do it, too. Just DO NOT gap the plugs because you will ruin the platinum coating... Install them straight from the box.

Why do the fog lights and cruise control on a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder fail to work even if there are no bad fuses?

Hi, I think I might have an answer to the FOG LIGHTS part of the question. I had the same problem on my 1995 Pathfinder and the solution was within the very fog light. Check the contacts on the fog lights. They might be shortened/grounded. So in order to fix it, use some electrical tape and, hopefully, it should resolve the problem.
