In Missouri can you get your GED and your high school diploma?

A GED is a type of high school diploma.... Most people that have these are dropouts who decided they needed something... this makes it look bad on paper, unfortunately. Example: the US Air Force requires a high school diploma, or a GED and 15 credit hours from a university.

Homeschooled kids usually get GED's, but this just means they are disadvantaged when they have to say that they've only got a GED.

If you are applying for something, and it says you have to have a GED, a high school diploma way exceeds this requirement.

A good way to learn in a lecture class is to force yourself to pay attention by constantly taking notes. Write down or type almost everything the teacher says. As soon as possible after the class, type or systematize the notes into an organizational form that makes sense to you. Use color, various fonts, italics, boldface, charts graphs, boxes, and other visual patterns to make a connection with the information so you can remember it. This is a lot of work, but when you are finished you will have a textbook of the lectures, and studying will be very easy, since it is all organized in your own system.

How many questions do i have to get right out of 160 to get a 300 scoring to pass?

That is a good question because the NCBTMB keeps many of its inner workings a mystery. First of all, they only count 120 out of the 160. Also, they do not use a straight percentage, they use a scaled score; they adjust the percentage in relation to the different versions of the test.

A rough guess, since only they know which questions count, would be about 120 right answers to pass the 600 question exam.
