Dash illumination problems in Geo Tracker?
Hi, First, is your dash illumination knob or dial turned all the way down? That would have your dash lights not on. if not that, have you had your dash out? If so, did you reconnect the plugs. The fuse for the dashboard lights also is for the license plate light. front and rear park front and rear marker, high beam warning, dome lightand door warning. So the instant fuse check is do any of the mentioned lights work? Try these from the first and you'll most likely get to the bottom fast. Good luck. Steve H.
Can you rebuild a ecm for Geo Tracker?
Yes, there are several people out there that rebuild them and prices range from fairly reasonable to as high as you can imagine. Some of the most reasonable I have seen is on 'Flea bay'.
Some have done it themselves by changing the bad capacitors. It requires good electronic knowledge though because the caps are polarized and there will be some cleanup of the circuit board because of the corrosion caused by the leaking old caps.
Where can you buy an oil pan for 1994 Geo Tracker?
HI, You two coices, number one is a Chevy dealer and buy a new on, Number two is a Suzuki dealer and see if they can order on, number three is go to a local salvage yard (junkyard) and ack if they have a car with your engine and find out if you can buy just the oil pan. They probaly would have to had junkek an engine and take one for parts. Even though the third option is the third, I'd try that one first. There is one other option but the chances are real slim and that is EBay but again, the chances are slim. I'll eat my words, you absolutely will find it on eBay. I just went there and found one new for $70.00 and a small smattering of others. So depending on what you want to pay, I'd go here first! Don't forget your oil pan gasket, you need a new on too. Good luck and happy fixing. Steve H

Why does the Blower motor stop working on Geo Tracker?
Hi,There could be a few reasons, the fuse, the blower motor resistor, the fan switch. Any of these could be the problem but you need to first do the checks, fuse first, if ok then look further. I also hve the same problem and I believe it's the an resistor as I've had to replace one before. I've also had a problem with the fan switch. Good luck. Steve H.

92 Geo Tracker to much fuel runs rough lots of black smoke dies at idle any ideas?
Sounds like you may either have a bad O2 sensor or faulty fuel injector. If you're getting black smoke, you've got too much fuel in the system. Also, check your air filter. Sometimes it's the obvious things that get overlooked.

Where is the power steering fluid reservoir on a 1994 geo tracker Picturesdiagrams?
Hi, Your power steering resivoir is at the front of the engine as you face the car on the right side of the engine. It is driven by a belt from the engine and is real easy to spot. The cover is a quarter to half turn and has a dipstick on it when youy lift it off. There are two levels for checking one is a cold measure and the other is a hot measure, that just means when you've driven the car for a while the fluid gets warm with use. Good luck and happy fixing. Steve H.
Im having the same problem. Either the cold start things bad or the timings off or both...

Usally that means its a vaccum leak someplace. Best thing to do it start it up and see if you can hear a leak..(Should sound like a sucking sound) then if you find it, replace the hose with a good piece. Thiscan be tricky and aggervating so take your time. Best of luck!
Check the instrument cluster in the Tracker. If the fuse is ok then it is probably the connections on the cluster.
