What is the best type of golf ball to use with a 460M driver?

The type of ball to use has to do with what type of player you are, not the size of the driver. For instance using titleist as an example, if you are are a scratch golfer the ProV1 and ProV1x will be the best bet, whereas if you are a 10-15 handicap you are better using an NXT or NXT tour. Or if you are say a 30 handicapper just by the cheapest ball made. this is not true for an instance because u can be a scratch golfer but at the age f 60 you shoul be hitting a callway itour becaus it takes less speed to apply the spin. if you are swing over 100 and know how to control spin then the pro v 1 or pro v 1x is perfect but if not you shopuld try the taylormade burner balls or the upper end callway balls.

When less than one percent of all golfers in the world ever break 100 why is it that par for most golf courses in the world is set at 72?

I'm afraid that is way off, I would say 1% of golfers fail to break 100 at one point in their life would be more accurate than the above stat. Par is set at 72 for most courses because there is 18 holes, either par 3, mostly par 4's and some par 5's, the total they add up to is 72 (some courses vary from 69-73). If par was 100 top pros would be maybe 125 under for a tournament which is just silly. The problem you have pointed out is solved by the handicap system, which allows golfers to shoot net under par.

Do More Expensive Golf Balls Roll Longer?

== == Not EXACTLY, There is soft balls and hard balls. The hard ones go further, doesn't matter which brand. Soft balls are for more feel and more backspin. If you buy expensive SOFT balls then you will have more feeling in putting and more backspin for chipping, irons, etc. For Hard balls, the more expensive go further than the not expensive ones USUALLY, it depends what brand. If you don't know the difference between hard or soft then ask one of the guys in the golf store. If you want to go far and have an average value ball then I would recommend Nike Ignite (I use this ball and it's really good.) But if you want the expensive ones get Titleist ProV1X, make sure it has the X. And if you want soft balls then get the titleist Pro V1, no X in it.
