What are the best laptops to install and run Adobe CS4 Design Premium on?
In my opinion, MAC laptops or desktops are the best computer for these high end applications. The stability and speed of the operating system are primary concerns, and I have never been happy with any windows platform. If you prefer to work in the PC environment there are adequate systems available, look for quality of components and do a little research in this area before you talk to a salesman.
How do you care for and clean a wacom pen tablet correctly?
Actually you don't.. aside from replacing the nib when needed and occasionally blowing the dust off it, it requires no cleaning or maintenance!! I had a bamboo for three years and have moved to a pen and touch now going on two years... never cleaned either to speak of. I had a friend who had a wacom so old that it wasn't even USB.. he needed an adapter and it still works!

What are the different types of printing processes?
There are a BUNCH of "major" printing processes: Offset--used for printing nearly everything, offset uses a flat plate with water-accepting and water-rejecting areas. The plate is dampened then rolled across an inked roller. The ink sticks to the water-rejecting areas. The plate is then rolled across a "blanket" cylinder, which is pressed against the sheet. Flexography--narrow-web flexo is for packaging, wide-web for newspapers. A plate that looks a LOT like a rubber stamp is inked with an anilox roller, then pressed against the sheet. Letterpress--used largely for packaging, it's a little like flexo except the plates are made from metal. Rotogravure--used for million-impression runs of packaging and publications, a polished copper cylinder is engraved, inked and pressed against the sheet. Wide-format inkjet--used for billboards and vehicle wraps, these are like the inkjet printer you may have attached to your computer, but much larger. Narrow-format inkjet--used for addressing. Digital presses--these are getting very popular. These are laser printers that run hundreds of pages per minute. Some print in color. Intaglio, or Engraving--elegant invitations and banknotes are printed this way. They engrave the information on a flat copper plate then press the stock onto the inked plate.

Vector graphics refers to a type of graphics that stores color information as well as the paths (curves and shapes) rather than using pixels to store image information (raster graphics). This means that it will retain image quality better than raster graphics, no matter how you scale it (enlarge or shrink) when it comes to designing logos, line art, and other 2D imagery.
The most common file type for vector graphics is Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG).
In programming, a vector is a scalable array (a type of array that can be resized). For example, strings in C++ would be a vector of characters/bytes.

What is the purpose of a headline in an ad?
A headline is a line set in a large type to get readers' attention and lead into the body copy. It is supposed to be a relevant summary of what follows as an attention-getter. To be effective, a headline must serve a few purposes. Attracting attention is first and foremost, but it must also engage the audience, explain the visual, lead the audience into the body copy, and cue the selling message. The average message has only a couple of seconds to capture a reader's attention. Ideally, headlines present a complete selling idea. Research shows that on average three to five times as many people read the headline vs. read the body. If the sell isn't clear in the headline, the message would be a waste to the client's money. In outdoor posters or billboards, the headline is the only copy, so it has to communicate the entire message along with the visuals. The difficult is that the headline needs to be short and sufficient. Also healines are used to showcase news, as in newspapers.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of sound card?
A dedicated sound card has the following advantages and disadvantages.
Most modern computer motherboards will have some kind of onboard audio chip which is sufficient for most gaming and audio listening. However some audiophiles may requires a higher degree of standards when it comes to their listening and may have equipment capable of detecting and noticing the shortcomings of a mass-produced, cheap, onboard sound chip.
A dedicated card will first have it's own chip which means it takes a load off the CPU when it comes to sound effects and input and output. This means the CPU could be freed up for more important tasks.
The inputs and outputs on a dedicated soundcard will usually be of a better craftsmanship then the ones on a motherboard and thus will have less analog interference. This is important on the back of a computer which is already brimming with EMI due to the myriad of devices in close quarters.
Usually a dedicated sound card will have a better DSP (digital signal processor) and will be capable of higher quality sound output and input. This means you can run a better quality of sound in and out of the card.
The disadvantages of course are price. A dedicated card can run as little as thirty dollars to as much as several thousand for high end models.
They also take up a precious expansion slot on a motherboard which could be used for other devices you might need.
Various manufacturers may have varying support for some programs and devices and hardware, always a concern. Onboard sound chips tend to be almost universal in their support, one advantage. A dedicated card might not openly support alternative operating systems such as Linux or BSD bases.
Hope this helps!
