Hi, i honestly do not recommend laying soft bedding in a ferret cage, they sometimes like to chop on soft things and most of the softer bedding is chewy as well which if they swallow it they will most likely get it lodged in their intestine and need emergency surgery. Pine bedding works the best, they find comfort in almost anything. iv seen my ferrets sleep on top of a stack of CD`s!
100% Pine bedding Is what i recommend.

Pine bedding is dangerous to ferrets. Period.
A better option for litter would be recycled paper pellets such as Marshall or Yesterdays News. I use wood stove pellets.
Blankets and hammocks are fine for them to sleep on.

If the hamster is lactating, then you shouldn't worry about it, baby hamsters are born with teeth and they may be hurting her but it's going to be alright. If the hamster is not lactating then you should take it to the vet.

This would NOT be a good idea. Clothing can cause the animal to get tangled and trapped inside and may cause suffocation issues. Use any wood shavings for bedding or shreaded clean paper. Not newspaper as the ink on the newspaper can be toxic to small animals.

Make sure the carb. is clean. Take it off the engine and remove the bowl. There should be a small brass tube that sucks gas up in the center of the bowl, make sure it is not plugged. If it was clean then try turning out the mixture screw for high speed. If you don't know what one is what you can turn them by trial and error. If you turn it counterclockwise while it is running and it starts running rough then open the choke and it will eventually start running good with the choke open. Just play with it a while. Make slow adjustments so you don't kill the engine and it is quits then turn it back to where you last started it at.
That sounds like a good mix. Don't forget to give your hamster fresh fruit and vegetables so it can maintain a nice balanced diet.

New bedding. You can wash the cage- without bedding in it: that would just be messy. I would change the bedding like every week or every other week.
