Biblically speaking can a person be born in the place called Purgatory and would they know it?
Answer:
The Bible does not speak of a 'Purgatory' or 'holding' place until some specific level of pureness is achieved. This is a tradition of men, particularly developed in the Catholic faith.
Answer:
In Roman Catholic tradition, Purgatory is a place where some souls go after death, where they do penance for sins before they can enter heaven. Because only souls who have left their bodies are in purgatory, no one can be born or die there.
As heaven is eternal life with God; communion of life and love with the Trinity and all the blessed; heaven is the state of supreme and definitive happiness, the goal of the deepest longings of humanity; (Glossary from the Catechism of the Catholic Church): as such it is not subject to human jurisdiction, much less the United States Postal Office or the Congress.
When are terrorists going to go to hell?
Answer 1
There is difference between a terrorist and a freedom fighter. The one creates terror but the other fights for freedom. Almighty God will decide who will be sent to hell-the oppressor or freedom fighter. Be bold and don't be afraid of make-believe terrorists. Nothing is going to happen to you.
Answer 2
Since nobody has actually given us a report from within Hell or Heaven, we can only guess where a violent mass-murderer would go based on the Holy Scriptures we have. There does seem to be a general agreement that killing innocents will merit going to Hell, but there is no absolute assurance. Additionally, in order to go to Hell, a terrorist would have to die first. While some are suicide bombers and do that hard work themselves, the remainder have to actually be found by soldiers or policemen and then have to die (either from being killed or by rotting away in prison) before they can go to the Divine sorting process.
Do you go to hell for stealing?
You go to Hades for sinning, not repenting, and not trying to follow God. And, yes, stealing is one of those things that you can use for that purpose. Even if you go to confession and are forgiven in confession for stealing, you still must make restitution - always. Discuss this with your confessor. Let me add to the first commentator. You have a good point but the question is always which comes first - the chicken or the egg? There is really only one sin that seperates us from God which is disobediance as found in the book of Genesis. Adam partook of the fruit of the tree of knowledge and he willfully disobeyed God. This is the original sin which reflects the condition of the human heart. It is not the outward sin which seperates us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. It is the condition of the heart which can not be changed without an inward cleansing by the Holy Spirit. We must be born again of water and the Word. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us as the second person of the Trinity. His name is Jesus! He is the perfect God-Man who is in total oneness with the Father. We are disobediant by nature and have lost our relationship with God who has breathed into us the very breath of life! Jesus Christ is obediant to the will of the Father in every aspect of His nature and in the Garden of Sorrows said "not my will by thine be done". He accepted the cross of Calvary for our salvation and He suffered for our disobediance. Through one man (Adam) we were lost in sin but through the one Man, Jesus Christ, we are saved from this condemnation. What I am trying to say is that if you never steal you will still go to hell unless your heart has been changed by the Holy Spirit and you have repented of your sins. You will still sin because you are born a sinner - a child of the human race. Our salvation is not dependant upon avoiding sin altogether but rather it is in turning to God with humility and accepting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who gave his life that we might have life everlasting! For by grace are you saved, through faith, and this is not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, less any man should boast! If you follow all the rules of the church and live a good life but do not trust in Jesus Christ alone you can still go to hell if you do not live by faith. The sacraments and the disciplines of the church are designed to bring you to faith but they are not faith in and of themselves. You must find the message of faith which they present to you everyday. Listen for the inner voice of God which calls you to repentance. You can be saved if you trust in the Lord Your God and rest upon His promises alone. If you do steal, repent now and seek God's forgiveness. Confess your faults one to another that you might be healed. Try to make it right with the one from whom you have stolen whenever possible. You can not be perfect in this world but you can set your heart on things above rather than on those things that will only seperate you from the love of God. The Word of God and the message of faith will keep you from sin but sin will will keep you from the Word of God and from the sacraments that lead you to faith in Jesus Christ. Always remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Garden "not my will, by thine be done". True humility and obediance will lead you to a place of repentance through the grace and will of our Lord Jesus Christ. This also is the work of God which you alone can not do but God will give you the strength to do it. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean not unto thine understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy paths!
What important work describes a journey trough heaven hell and purgatory?
That may refer to Dante's "Divine Comedy".
Did Winston Churchill go to heaven or hell?
Winston Churchill was an atheist, and therefore did not believe in an afterlife.
No, it is fire, so when people say it freezes over, it's just another way of saying "never" because it'll never happen.
OR Is heaven on fire?
OR Does hell REALLY exist? How can you be sure? Are you sure its not just the governments way of trying to keep the majority of the population on their best behavior?
The GOVERNMENT? The Bible was not written by the government.
If you die and go to heaven will you know each other as you know each other now?
The Bible says that you will recognize those you knew here on earth. It doesn't say how or what we will look like. Don't worry, God has it all figured out.

Is the Prophet Mohammed in Christian Hell?
Most Christian Views have historically place Mohammed in Hell. Medieval Christian thinking saw Mohammed as a sower of religious division and greatly hated by God. For example, in Dante's Inferno, Mohammed and Ali are together and mutilated in the Eighth Circle of Hell. In more modern versions of Christianity, there is division between more liberal branches of Christianity that no longer issue an opinion on whether Mohammed is in Hell or not. For example, the official Catholic opinion is that while they disagree with whether Mohammed was prophet, they no longer discuss where he went after death. More conservative forms of Christianity, especially Evangelicals and Calvinists continue to argue that Mohammed is in Hell. A good example is South Korean pastor, Bo Ra Choi, who claims to have seen visions of Hell and sees Mohammed among its occupants.
Answer 2First; there is nothing called Christian Hell or Muslim Hell or Jewish Hell. After the Day of Judgement and after all people judged by God; the Creator; People either go to the Paradise (or Heavens) per God; the Creator; mercy or will be pushed to Hell fire.second; it is logic that the non believers of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who thinks that prophet Muhammad is not prophet to say what they want. Some say he was crazy, magic, lier, or other accusations that are mentioned in Quran. So, it is logic to think that some Christians and non believers think that prophet Muhammad will be in the Hell.
Did the Etruscans believe in heaven and hell?
They did. There heaven consisted of 16 different sections with a god for each. Their hell was refered to as Tartarus.
Which is better heaven or hell?
We have no evidence that heaven and hell even exist, so we can not say that one is better than the other, apart from the belief that heaven is a place of blissful reward and hell is a place of eternal damnation. In the absence of this evidence, I would call it a draw. Two non-existent places are equally good or bad.
Will the Jews from World War 2 go to heaven or hell?
That is not something that is possible for us to determine. It's probably not an everyone or no one situation, as that is likely determined individually and not as an entire group.
Do most People go to Hell if they Committed Suicide?
Unfortunately, there is really no way that we can know that. Scripture gives very little information about the topic of suicide. There are many people that have had near death experiences that claim they went to hell until they were medically revived. Whether these are real or just the human brain shutting down when death is near is hotly debated.
We may never really know if the act of suicide means automatic damnation, so it's best to err on the side of caution. The horrors of hell will be so much more drastic than anything that can happen to a person during his/her life on earth. So no matter how bad things seem in a person's life, it's a real party compared to what hell has in store for sinners.
When people who committed suicide do those people still go to Heaven?
I think it really depends on the person's relationship with God before the suicide. There is no way to know for sure, but whether a person goes to heaven or hell depends on their life prior to their death.
How does the Bible describe Hell?
Hell is a place where the wrong are held there for final judgment. And they are supossedly ripped apart before their judgment some signs of this more likely symbolize passing from flesh to soul.
Hell is where you go when you die if you are not a christain. You become a christain by believing in God and that Jesus die on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead in three days. You have to admit you have done some bad stuff, choose to become a christain, follow God, and make Him Lord of your life.

Heaven and hell in the middle ages?
Yes, there was both in the middle ages. Part of the time, people also believed in Purgatory which was a middle part between where you worked off your sins and then be judged. Martin Luther was convinced to stop it and correct the church. He was a priest. I'm not christian so there might be some more information that you might need
What would you do if someone you known Committed Suicide?
.
We cannot know the final disposition for anyone's soul before God. All we can do is trust in the mercy of God and pray for that person. There have been a few revelations to people of persons who committed suicide, in the two that I can think of, one was a young girl who appeared to her friend who had been praying for her, she told her to not pray for her as she was in hell. The other was Our Blessed Lady revealing to a mother that her son had repented with his dying breath and would be in purgatory for the rest of the time so he was in desperate need of prayers. We should commend these souls to God and pray for their release from purgatory. All prayers offered for the dead are used by God. If the person has no need of our prayers, then God uses them for someone who does need our prayers. Prayers for the dead are never "wasted."

It is simply a case of a misplaced comma. Punctuation wasn't part of the original language in which the books (letters) of the Bible were written in. Early translators of the Bible into English believed that people went to heaven or hell when they died, so that is how they punctuated that text. It should read, "I say to you today, you will be with me in heaven." Jesus was saying that "today", even though it looks impossible because I'm dying on a cross the same as you are, if you believe in me today, with me in this condition, you will be in heaven with me. Your future is secure.
Jesus himself didn't ascend to heaven that day, so he would have been lying if he told the thief that he'd be in heaven with him that day. When Jesus confronted Mary Sunday morning after his resurrection, he told her not to touch him because he "had not yet ascended to his father." Jesus rested in the tomb over the Sabbath, and it wasn't until sometime Sunday morning after talking to Mary that he ascended to heaven to present himself before the Father and receive the assurance that his sacrifice was enough to redeem the world.
Answer
becose he was on the cross but he knew the thief's hart there for he-Jesus did meet him in hevan becose althow he did not derectly go to heven he was there allways nomatter if his human body died on the cross
Edit by Engl1sh: It is also theorized that because the thief and Jesus died on that day, and because the thief recognised Jesus as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, they both passed away and went to Heaven. Jesus did in fact die and was then ressurected 3 whole days later. This would completely explain how he died, went to Heaven, and returned (from the grave) to Earth to prove he was and is God.
AnswerIt would appear that the Kingdom of heaven was always there. People were allowed to enter it from the time John baptised for Scripture says "Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has risen no one greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force "(Matthew Ch 11). As far as I can remember Jesus ascended to His Father after the resurrection as indicated below.Note: according to Scripture the Kingdom of God the Father and the Kingdom of God the Son are two very different things
What would Life be if those People who wants or did Commit Suicide were NEVER Born?
There would be no problem. Never existing means just that. They never were so they would have had no life at all.
Yes, in the Book of Daniel where Satan is called the 'prince' of the Kingdom of Persia:
Daniel 10:12-14
New King James Version (NKJV)
12 Then he said to me, "Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refersto many days yet to come."
