When you rotate the tires do you have to do the wheel alignment as well?
NO! When rotating the tires, look closely at the tread. If you see any abnormal wear, such as uneven wear, feathering, or dipping. Have an alignment performed. Otherwise just rotate. Toe adjustments are common, and is the fasted tire-eating adjustment. An alignment should be checked every six months. If it's not out more than .04 by then, wait longer between alignments. The older a car gets, the faster alignments go out. A reputable place will give you a before and after print-out of your specs. And will check it for free.
Is 10005 miles to many for a 2002 Honda accord?
I assume you're looking to buy.
If it has 10,005 that is unbelievably good mileage. I personally would be concerned that the odometer has been tampered with.
If it has 100,005 miles and you just forgot a "0" that's a lot more reasonable and would be average or slightly under average mileage for a car at that age.
Why does the headlight bulb keep blowing on a Honda XL 185?
Possibly something is wrong with your battery so all the lights/ignition system/etc are running off the basic 6v,not very well regulated, alternator system.
Can also be a short in the bulb socket due to corrosion.
take off distributor cap have someone turn engine over briefly, if rotor on top of distributor turns timing belt is ok if not it's broken.
AnswerCould be a bunch of other stuff too...distributor caps on Hondas are a pain to remove so take the valve cover off instead. Then check for spark, fuel, make sure you've got gas...ANSWER:
This solution may be a little too obvious for some people, but consider removing the two 10 mm bolts that hold the plastic cover on top of the driver's side of the cylinder head, remove the cover, and look at the actual timing belt to see if it's broken.
Call your local parts store, or AutoZone and ask if they are able to test your ignition module if you bring it in.

Why would an ABS light be blinking?
I had a the same problem on my 2000 Dodge 1500 Pickup. ABS light & Brake light was on all the time and ABS pump/motor would not shut off even when key was turned off and out of the ignition. I found out the problem was the ABS control module so I bought & replaced it myself. The ABS light & brake light turned off. But then the ABS light was flashing on/off. I looked high & low for the solution for the ABS light flashing on/off and I found it in the service manual, (WHEN THE ABS MODULE IS REPLACED YOU NEED TO RESET THE COMPUTER) The only way to do this is go to the dealer and have them reset the computer. My dealer cost me $48.00 to reset the computer in 5 minutes time.... I have a code reader but I do not have one that programs like the dealer has and when I looked online at the price to buy the programing code reader, it cost $5,500.00 I guess the $ 48.00 is not bad after all... Sorry for the long winded response but I was trying to cover all bases.. Good Luck Signguy

What should the output voltage of a 1993 Subaru Imprezza oxygen sensor be?
Oxygen sensor voltages on a 1993 Subaru and most other vehicles should, with the sensor fully warmed (above 600 degrees F) vary rapidly above and below .45 volts. The range of fluctuations can be from .1volt to .9volts. A digital voltmeter will usually average these voltages to about .45 volt. Lower voltages indicate a lean mixture and higher voltages indicate a rich mixture. A scan tool or oscilloscope is necessary to see acurate live voltage changs on an oxygen sensor.
Do you run engine to add coolant to Honda Accord?
Fill the radiator up and then start the engine with the cap off. Keep adding coolant until you no longer see any air escaping. Keep it full at all times. Look on the engine for bleeder valves to bleed air from the system. If it has some put the cap on and let the engine reach full operating temperature. Slowly turn the bleeder valve to release any trapped air. Let the engine cool and check the coolant level. Add as necessary to top it off.

How do you troubleshoot a 1996 Honda Accord EX fluctuating idling?
Check the cold idle valve under the throttle body. There is a white peice in it that comes loose and causes idle surge. It is located directly under the throttle body and has two coolant hoses connected to it. If you remove the intake pipe you should be able to see it. There are I belive 3 10mm bolts holding it to the throttle body. Remove the entire thing and clean and re-assemble. You may need some sealer to seal one of the gaskets. The white peice needs to be screwes all the way back in. That should take care of the problem
if there is a auto zone around you take your car there they will do a dyno test on it for free i had a problem with my car that the light would not go off and i had a lose hose that was causing the problem did you put fuel injector fluid in your car to make sure the fuel injector wasn't dirty?
obd 2 systems can be very complicated, and once the code is triggered, it will stay in the ecu til its erased, a friend of mine was running into the same problems it turned out to be her gas cap which wasnt tightened correctly, and threw the code and it stayed there til it was erased, try disconnecting your battery, and see if it clears. if Honda did the reapirs, take it back to them and make them fix it.
By the way, if you enjoy modding you car, like i do, the check engine light may come on after doing work on your car. For instance, today, i put a short RAM intake on my 1999 Honda Accord EX-L V6. After completing the install, i unplugged the sensors and turned on the car for a sec to let it know that it should recalculate the air intake. I then reconnected the sensors and turned the car on. I let it idle for a while so it could recalibrate. After doing all this, I realized the check engine light, or malfunction light was on. I understood that this was because i had been tinkering, and of course i didn't want to pay $80 for a diagnostic, which would turn off the light. What i could have done, is wait, and after 40 startups with no problem the light would have turned off. Alternatively, what i did was REMOVE THE NUMBER 13 FUSE FROM THE FUSE BOX ON THE PASSENGER DOOR FRAME FOR 10 SECONDS AND THEN REPLACE IT. THIS WILL MAKE YOUR MALFUNCTION/CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GO OFF BUT THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED AND I DON'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU RUIN YOUR CAR. THAT LIGHT USUALLY DOESN'T LIGHT UNLESS THERE IS A PROBLEM. IF THE LIGHT COMES BACK ON AFTER A WHILE YOU SHOULD TAKE YOUR CAR TO A QUALIFIED TECHNITIAN BECAUSE SOMETHING IS REALLY <EXPLETIVE>'ED UP!
How many miles is a Honda accord engine good for?
A very well-maintained Honda motor can last as long as 500,000 miles easily, but it requires routine maintenance and a light gas pedal foot.
What tires would you need for a 2000 Honda accord ex v6?
Most people would go with something cheap. Bad idea. I have done some research and have a 2000 V6 accord as well. You wanna stick with a V or H rated tire. I had someone put on some S rated hydro tires and let me tell you... after 3 hours I knew I made the wrong decision. Do you need to stick with Michelin? That is up to you. I got the H rated Michelin MXV4 Plus sine the V rated are a bit more expensive and have not seen a difference in performance. If I didn't find a deal on the Michelins I would have gone with Kuhmo Solus KH16. Hard to find, but inexpensive. After that.. would have gotten the Falken ziex 512. if you want some good reviews... goto tirerack.com Good luck
99 Honda Accord won't go into drive?
EX?, HX? LX? ES? Either way it is likely that the tranny is shot. Hondas have a good tranny design, but everything will break. HX trannys are VERY EXPENSIVE to fix. On my '98, the stoplight switch went out...twice...and that, or a blown STOP fuse (under hood fuse block) would keep the brake lights from working as well as the cruise and the auto tranny control wouldn't come out of park. Until I could fix it, I simply pulled up the plastic ring that covers the edge of the tranny control lever and pushed a key into the slot on the left side (toward the front) which would release the lever where I could then put it into drive or reverse.
