Why is there not a guideline for replacing the transmission filter in the 2002 Honda Accord's owner manual?

so that the dealer can make more money when you need to bring it in :) lol i don't know why it isn't in there. you could always call and ask them though or search on the internet how to replace. Honda Accords do not have a transmission filter. That is why they recommend changing the transmission fluid so often. Simply change the transmission fluid as outlined in the maintenance schedule. This isn't any harder than changing the engine oil, so if you can do that, you should be able to handle it.

How do you replace the front turn signal bulb located on a 1986 Honda Accord LX?

open your hood and there should be a screw in the corner of the turn signal and it should slid right out

Here is what I had to do on my 1988 Accord1. Open the retractable headlights.2. Remove the plastic shroud around the headlight: two screws in front and one on each side.3. Look to the outside of the headlight and you will see a single screw in a small plastic cover on the front inside edge of the signal light assembly. The headlight prevents you from getting at the screw straight-on. I broke it loose with an offset Phillips screwdriver, and then backed it out with a regular Phillips.4. Remove the plastic cover, and you will see two screws. Remove them.5. Now you can pull the turn signal assembly forward and out.6. To remove the bulb holders from the assembly, twist counterclockwise and pull out.7. Pull straight outward to remove the bulbs. To assemble, follow the steps in reverse. Note that there are two plastic rods on the back end of the turn signal assembly that you will insert into two holes in the channel of the fender.

It is really simple. All you have to do is remove the plastic cover for the map light and the bulb is right there. How do you replace blower motor 1998 Honda Accord?

This is fairly simple, although the position is a little awkward. The blower motor is mounted under the dashboard on the passenger's side. It is held in by three screws which go in vertically. The screws can be removed with an 8mm socket wrench (an extension is handy) or a Torx T-20 driver bit. Before removing the screws, unclip the two wiring connector blocks, pressing the small plastic locking clip on each to release the connector.

Remove the screws and lower the blower motor. Check for debris in the air ducts, then install the new motor, and reattach the wiring connector blocks. New motors cost $50 to $100 online, perhaps less at your local junkyard.

A malfunctioning blower problem could also be caused by a bad fuse or bad blower motor resistor ($15-$135 online). The resistor is what gives you four fan speeds. If the blower motor works only on the highest speed, then the problem is likely the resistor. [Information verified on 1998 Honda Accord EX.]
