Something that old is going to stand something like a 10w40, or 10w30. Check the door,there is often an oil recommendation there or under the hood.

Mine is an older model but I had same issue. The maintenance required light is on a sensor so it changes after a set number of miles. It's to remind you to take your car in for an oil change and things like that. It's factory set, typically; there's probably nothing wrong with your car if you've had an oil change in the past few thousand miles; if not, take it in, it can't hurt.

To turn it off (this is based off of my model and I'm unsure if it would be the same for yours) there is a little hole looking thing in the dashboard glass cover/window[around your speedometer and the maintenance light.] Put the tip of the key into the hole and push a little; the light should reset.

Option 3: Obtain another seat belt buckle and keep it inserted until you wish to acutally use your seat belt, then remove and plug in your seat belt. Option 4: (if you do not have kids) There should be 3 seat belts in the rear seats, remove the center seat belt buckle in the and follow option 3. Option 5: Cut the wire in the housing of the buckle insert that delivers the signal. Be sure to splice it back together when returning or selling the car. If you are just replacing the fuel pump you should be able to do that from an access point in the trunk when you let the seat down. There should be a circle cover that is about 4" and should be able to take off a couple of nuts and pop it up to get to the fuel pump. Just to remove the gas tank... make sure you have the car lifted up and take out the two straps holding it in. Disconnect the fuel pump line. disconnect the fill hose. It should drop right down.

I don't know if there's a "best" filter, but Honda OEM filters, Purolator PureOne, Mobil 1, K&N, Wix and Donaldson are all great filters. Any of those will work well for you. I recommend Purolator, Wix, Motorcraft, & AC/Delco for most cars. For your Honda I would recommend Purolator or Wix.

I have a 91 Honda Accord EX SW, I was having problems with the "S" (sport) light being stuck on. At first I could reset it by taking off the NEG battery cable for about 30 secs and put it back on and the car would come on fine(no sport light or tranny issues) and run great for a few days. Well that few days got shorter and shorter, and I would have to reset more often until it finally just quit reseting that way and was stuck in 2nd gear. I eventually had to buy a new TCU to fix the problem. I found out that there was some type of flaw in the initial making of some TCU's from a plant in Georgia. I will state that I am not a mechanic but only someone who has some knowledge thanks to alot of research online about this problem, and knows that you can be told by some shady mechanics that it is the transmission itself, so they can make some $$$$. I'm not saying that it might not be the tranny but I would look in to the TCU issue b4 sinking some serious $$$ in to getting a whole new tranny. Hope this helps and good luck!

The water pump is driven by the cam belt. The cam belt and water pump should only be replaced by someone who knows what they are doing. Do it wrong and you will damage the engine when you attempt to start it.

Honda diagrams for a 2007 Honda Accord are available through parts stores. Another place to find these diagrams are in the service manuals made for these specific cars.

It sounds like a bad cable connection at the battery/starter solenoid/ or the starter solenoid is bad. Check these areas. It could still be the battery. Check the voltage at the battery then try to start the engine. If the voltage drops below about 10 or 11 volts, the battery does not have enough of a charge. Try a battery charger for a while and see if you can get enough of a charge to start the engine. If the voltage is up when you try to start the engine, check the battery post connections. See if you have voltage THERE when you try to start it. Sometimes a corroded battery terminal will act the way you described. If that isn't it, check the connections to the starter. If you have good voltage to the starter when you try to start it, the starter is probably bad.

Book time for the evaporator is 2 hours, follow the a.c. lines to the fire wall and under the dash on that side attatched to the evaporator will be your expansion valve.

there is a cable that runs from the trunk release lever to the latch inside the trunk. you should be able to disconnect it from the latch inside the trunk
