Is 10005 miles to many for a 2002 Honda accord?

I assume you're looking to buy.

If it has 10,005 that is unbelievably good mileage. I personally would be concerned that the odometer has been tampered with.

If it has 100,005 miles and you just forgot a "0" that's a lot more reasonable and would be average or slightly under average mileage for a car at that age.

Why does the headlight bulb keep blowing on a Honda XL 185?

Possibly something is wrong with your battery so all the lights/ignition system/etc are running off the basic 6v,not very well regulated, alternator system.

Can also be a short in the bulb socket due to corrosion.

What size wiper blade fits a 1998 to 2002 Honda Accord?

The 1998-2002 Honda Accord wiper blade sizes are 24" drivers and 19" passenger side wiper blades. See sources and related links below for more information. Since there are over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only. Be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.

Could a 1990 Honda Accord DX that will not start but the engine will rotate be an ignition coil problem or the timing belt broken?

take off distributor cap have someone turn engine over briefly, if rotor on top of distributor turns timing belt is ok if not it's broken.

AnswerCould be a bunch of other stuff too...distributor caps on Hondas are a pain to remove so take the valve cover off instead. Then check for spark, fuel, make sure you've got gas...

ANSWER:

This solution may be a little too obvious for some people, but consider removing the two 10 mm bolts that hold the plastic cover on top of the driver's side of the cylinder head, remove the cover, and look at the actual timing belt to see if it's broken.

Call your local parts store, or AutoZone and ask if they are able to test your ignition module if you bring it in.

How do you change replace headlight bulbs on 2005 Honda Accord and what headlight bulbs does it take?

2005 Honda Accord headlight bulb replacement: Purchase the correct replacement headlight bulb(s) first, before disassembling the vehicle. See sources and related links below for replacement bulb information. Then consult your owner's manual for the headlight bulb replacement procedure. As simple as it sounds, the owner's manual is the best place to start for bulb replacement instructions and illustrations. You may want to consider replacing both left and right at the same time in order to keep brightness and color equal (optional).

The owners manual will be of no help in detailing how to replace the bulb. You gain access to the driver side headlight bulbs through the wheel well. Removing the tire/wheel helps considerably. You access the passenger side bulbs by removing the battery.

Do you run engine to add coolant to Honda Accord?

Fill the radiator up and then start the engine with the cap off. Keep adding coolant until you no longer see any air escaping. Keep it full at all times. Look on the engine for bleeder valves to bleed air from the system. If it has some put the cap on and let the engine reach full operating temperature. Slowly turn the bleeder valve to release any trapped air. Let the engine cool and check the coolant level. Add as necessary to top it off.

Why won't my 1995 Honda Accord trunk latch?

I bought a new part for my 1995 Honda accord EX four trunk door but it still won't latch. Can you help?

How do you troubleshoot a 1996 Honda Accord EX fluctuating idling?

Check the cold idle valve under the throttle body. There is a white peice in it that comes loose and causes idle surge. It is located directly under the throttle body and has two coolant hoses connected to it. If you remove the intake pipe you should be able to see it. There are I belive 3 10mm bolts holding it to the throttle body. Remove the entire thing and clean and re-assemble. You may need some sealer to seal one of the gaskets. The white peice needs to be screwes all the way back in. That should take care of the problem

How many miles is a Honda accord engine good for?

A very well-maintained Honda motor can last as long as 500,000 miles easily, but it requires routine maintenance and a light gas pedal foot.

Does ignition timing change if engine run on cng?

Yes. CNG has a much higher octane. Near 130 I believe. To get the full benefit and to avoid valve damage, timing is set roughly 10+ degrees advanced over standard gasoline. (you should use a timing light and check with your manufacturer). Valve damage can occur as a result of the gas still burning as it exits the exhaust due to starting the burn late. Electronic cars can use an automatic device to advance timing. On older cars, you can rotate the distributor to advance timing.
