First of all there is no dipstick on a manual transmission, they use a fill plug instead. The fill plug is located on the transmission right beside the half shaft (look right at the lower level of the CV shaft) the fill plug is there. When ever you remove the fill or drain plug you should change the crush washer. To fill the transmission properly, place vehicle on level ground, remove the fill plug and if fluid comes out then you should be okay. If the fluid is dirty, remove the drain plug. Then fill the transmission with 10W30 or 10W40 oil until the fluid comes out of the fill plug hole. Use a squeeze bottle with a long flexible hose inserted into the fill plug hole, it makes filling easier. The transmission capacity is 2 quarts. Hope this helps

You will probably need a tube of some sort that fits into the hole on the lower end, and on the top side with the hood open you will use some type of funnel stuck into the tube. Not that it will take engine oil, not transmission fluid. Type (weight) of the oil will be in the manual, but I think it is 30 weight oil. If you do let the transmission run low (as a result of a leak or something) you can burn up 5th gear, as that is the highest one in the transmission and the one that runs low on oil first. You do NOT want to do that.
