It is located exiting the lower right front corner of the cabin circulating fan housing. If you suspect it is plugged - remove it and insert a stiff but flexible wire down it to push out any obstructions.

If you are certain that it is an electrical problem, the next things you might try would be replace the spark plugs, ignition wires, and have the distributor checked out.

Have you considered the fact that the problem may be fuel related rather than electrical? Is the fuel filter clogged and in need of replacement? Or, the fuel pump is failing, or that dirty fuel injectors are inhibiting the flow of gas to the cylinders?

I think you are actually asking what it costs to REPLACE the timing belt. The cost of the belt itself is not the big expense. The labor to partially disassemble the front of the engine and get to it is where the expense comes in. The cost of labor and materials vary too much around the country to make any estimate other than to say it's going to cost you several hundreds of dollars. The best thing to do would be to contact your local Honda dealer and ask.

I have a 99 Cr-v so they might be the same. I took a pair of pliers and squeezed them from the underside of the hood and just push up. The plastic flares out to keep them in place. Real easy. From your description it sounds as if your front struts (shock absorbers) are worn out and in need of replacement.

Some people claim to find 5 digit radio codes inside the glove box, inside the drivers door, in the owners manual...but I didn't finds any codes pasted anywhere.

I needed to locate the serial number of my unit and go to my Honda dealer with proof of ownership. It is on a sticker at the bottom of the radio about 2 inches back of the face place of the radio.

To pull out enough to read the serial number:

Remove the glove box screws and set glove box aside. Starting with the screw facing the door on the passenger side of the dash, remove the rest of the screws and pull to release tabs. Remove the small trim piece at the bottom of the center stack (4 screws). With these trim pieces pulled away, the hidden screws in the center stack are revealed. Unscrew these along with the visible screws. Remove the screws in the trim piece above the drivers knees, and pull away. Remove hidden screws from center stack trim and pull away. Uncouple the connecting harness for the cigarette lighter and climate controls. The center stack cover can pull away. Like the other trim pieces, it may require a pull. The radio is connected by Phillips screws approx an inch back from the front, approximately the middle of the unit. There is an access hole to remove the screws on both sides. Pull out to read serial number, a second person with a flash light helps.

Change the fluid using the Honda Dual Pump fluid, test drive and change again as needed until the noise is gone or you need a diff. unit (very rare). All Honda dealers carry this fluid and are familiar with this issue.

Try this simple test: 1. Obtain disc containing mp3 files. 2. Insert disc into CD player of your CR-V. 3. Does it play the files? If so, the answer to this question is "yes". Alternatively, look up the car on Honda's website and find out a bit more about the in-car entertainment options available there. Or you could even phone up your local Honda dealer and ask them! Remember "speaking to people"? That's what we used to do before the internet.

It is assumed that you are referring to the rear hatch glass and lower door. If the hatch glass is not releasing, check the fuse that controls power to the switch and

lock. If you are referring to the door iteself, you will probably have to remove the inner panel of the door to access the lock mechanism. If you are not 'handy' with tools you may have to take it to a repair shop or dealer.
