Can you clean the dirt from under horse's hoofs with a soft brush?
u could but i wouldn't cause that is not what the soft brush is used for. Try using a hoof pick w/ a brush @ the end. The soft brush is used for "sweeping" dust and dirt off of the horses coat. (I'm a horselover!:-P) But you could, so long as you don't care if the soft brush gets dirty, the brush will not hurt your horse. (I'm also a horselover xD)

What is the name of the horse that has its head chopped off in the movie The Godfather?
The actual decapitation of Khartoum, Jack woltz's prized horse, is not shown in the movie.
It can be assumed that Tom Hagen - Don Vito Corleone's adoptive son, who was sent to convince Jack woltz to cast Johnny Fontane in his desired movie role - was complicit in the act. He would either have ordered it done, or he would have carried out the job himself (presumably with some help, as beheading a horse can't have been particularly easy).
Woltz agrees to cast Fontane as a result. It seems he was made an offer he couldn't refuse.
Answer:It's possible that the person who beheaded the horse was Luca Brasi, who was "the big guy" at Connie's wedding who kept rehearsing what he would say to the Godfather, Vito and was greatly honored, being only a bodyguard. [Perhaps he used a garotte, which was the instrument used for his own murder.]
He was also the accomplice that held the gun to the head of a band leader [thought to be a Tommy Dorsey character] when the Godfather gave him "an offer he couldn't refuse" to free Fontaine from his contract.

His close emotional connection to these animals was marked by several people from his mother to an instructor at West Point. And this link mentions several with names from Kangaroo to Cincinnati, his mount in the statue at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC.

What does the horse means in the bible?
There are many references to horses in the Old Testament, and most of them simply refer to horses as military resources or as evidence of wealth. However there are three exceptional references to horses, one of which explicitly describes them as provided by the kings of Judah for the sun god and two others could very well be references to the sun god.
In 2 Kings chapter 23, King Josiah was enforcing monotheistic Judaism as the official religion of the kingdom of Judah. The kings of Judah had always kept horses and a chariot in the Jerusalem Temple for the sun god, in case the god ever needed them. Josiah took these away:
2 Kings 23:11: "And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathan-melech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire."
The people of the ancient Near East thought of the sun god travelling through the heavens in a chariot of fire, drawn by horses of fire. We see references to horses of fire when the prophet Elijah was taken up into heaven, and later associated with the prophet Elisha:
2 Kings 2:11: "And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."
2 Kings 6:17: "And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. "
That both Elijah and his protege and successor, Elisha, were associated with horses and chariots of fire can only mean that they were once associated with the sun god, even if any such reference is not in the Book of Kings as it comes down to us. In the very earliest versions of this story, Elijah and Elisha might even have been incarnations of the sun god.

Why are horse scared of plastic bags?
One must always understand that horses are first and foremost a prey animal. Being a prey animal means that their first response to an unfamiliar sight, sound or smell is to spook and run away, never to come investigate like predators--including dogs, cats and humans--do. Horses are animals to run away first, then come back and investigate later.
The plastic bag is an unfamiliar object and from the contrasting, unnatural white against the background to the loud, also highly unnatural crinkly sound associated with it. Not only that, but the movement of a plastic bag in the wind is simply alarming to an animal with a high sense of self-preservation and always thinks like a typical prey animal, never a predator.
The best way to teach a horse to not fear a plastic bag is to habituate it to all forms of plastic bags, from the sound it makes to the movement it makes in the wind. Teaching a horse--best is by pressure-and-release--to not fear the plastic bag takes patience and knowledge of the behaviours of a horse. Often it's best to begin using positive association--such as bringing treats or feed to a horse in a plastic bag. Soon the horse learns that the bag means something positive and good. Once you've made that step you can slowly progress to more challenging exercises associated with plastic bags.

Yes, police men do sometimes use horses, but not as often as cars or motorcycles. So, police use horses to catch people on foot in busy areas or where cars can't move.

A stud in horse terms means that there is a set price for the stallion to mate with a mare. He is usually not for sale.

Many people wrongly assume the term stud refers to a stallion, but really it refers to the breeding farm itself. That's why you'll see the term 'Stallion at stud' listed in horse magazines and on websites.
