Because society has opened the ideas of what a woman can wear there is only one thing that is specificallyy male: the protective cup. Whereas woman wear skirts, frizzly blouses, lace, panty hose and hose, panties, and bras are all "feminine" stuff that "men never wear." You self harm what should you do?

Consult a psychiatrist immediately because is such situations, a person needs help as soon as possible.

Maybe, but the way i stopped was i didn't forget every reason why i had been doing it, but i realised that other people are in much worse situations that ourselves so i joined an organization to help these people, so now i spend the time which i used to spend self harming, helping people. I think that was the best way in which to get over it and it helped me see the positive things in life. I didn't tell anyone, i just faced my own problem myself and got over it. Now self harm is just a distant memory, which i am happy to forget. Remember, whether you believe this or not, God loves us and we are His children. He doesn't want to see us getting hurt, especially not be ourselves. So try to see the positive things. I know how you feel, because i went through this aswell. When you're old, and you want to do everything you missed out on, you can't and you will wish you did it now, so don't self-harm. Life is short. Make the most of it :) Good luck

What causes pride?

Pride is caused from a lack of realistic perspective about ourselves. A realistic perspective of ourselves is : " We are flawed, immoral individuals." On our very best day we aren't good enough to earn God's gift of eternal life. We may seem like we are doing good or even great, but must realize that God's ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts higher than our thoughts. We become prideful when we lose sight of our sinful nature. Looking to Jesus and the redemptive work of the cross we can remind ourselves that it is only through the cross we become worthy of God's grace.

Some examples are challenging work assignment, opportunity for career advancement and accomplishments, opportunity for growth, sense of responsibility, and recognition.

How do you determin if someone is retarded?

How you see your personality?

Some people use mirror-self image which is when you percieve what someone thinks about you by observing their body language and or facial expressions. But you have to be sure your not taking it the wrong way. When you see how others percieve you then think about what you are doing for them to have that opinion and work with it. Sooner or later you will be able to notice exactly how you look towards others and how your personality makes you look. As we all know, or need to understand anyway, personality makes your looks.

When you are an alcoholic are you always an alcoholic?

There is a lot of controversy over this issue. The best information seems to indicate that people can recover from the physical effects of alcoholism if they stop drinking soon enough, but that some of the changes that take place in the brain during the process of alcohol addiction will remain. If that is the case, "recovered" alcoholics who drink are risking a rapid return of the addiction.

We need also to consider the psychological aspects of someone's wanting to have a drink when they have already seen what can happen. One could argue that such people have to be especially careful, since they are not committed to sobriety to begin with. Of course, denial being what it is, they will be the first to argue the point.

This is complicated to some degree by the variables among individuals. The best advice is to stay away from alcohol completely if it has previously caused problems in your life. The possible price of taking it up again is too high to pay.

Why it wrong to steal?

Because it violates the notion of private property.

Basically, if something is MINE it cannot become YOURS unless I give it to you. It cannot become yours unless I concede ownership to you, and you then assume ownership of said "thing.". In other words, in a 2-person, mutually exclusive system contending over one resource, both people must agree on who the owner is at any one time... or else it breaks mutual exclusivity.

In the three state case, either person A, person B, or neither person hold the resource. Both can't hold it at the same time.

The rules for assuming ownership of something unowned are debatable (you may need to ask permission from anyone else who may want it) but generally, if no one owns it, you can take it. However, most wouldn't consider that stealing.

One way you will promote the individuality of the people you support?

When they try something new that pleases themselves, congratulate them and push your real thoughts aside if you have to. After all it's what they want that matters!

If you truly don't like their style, you can still praise them for their boldness or their creativity. If you don't like their choices, you can still affirm their right to make their own choices, and you can celebrate their autonomy.

If you want to help them develop individuality, then you can help them learn critical thinking skills, and teach them to question nearly everything. You wouldn't want to give them excessive help, since the chance to struggle teaches independence.

Excessive praise is not the best when it comes to developing creativity in others, since that teaches dependence. The most creative people get their reward from whatever activity itself. If you do an art to please others, then you can get pulled into a trap of being a crowd pleaser, and the art suffers for it. People criticize pop stars for sounding alike or turning out "junk," and this may be why. The fame turns them into business people rather than artists.
