You have to lift up the cushion on the backseat. Remove the fuse for the fuel pump from the fuse box. Crank the engine a couple times to relieve the fuel pressure. Then disconnect the battery. Now unplug the electrical connector and the two quick connects on the old fuel filter. Install new filter, re-connect battery, and re-install fuse. It will take a few seconds for the car to start the first time until the fuel pressure builds back up.

Should be located in the removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose Drain about 1 gallon of coolant from the radiator

Remove this housing

Note how thermostat is installed

Clean both surfaces

Replace thermostat and gasket

Re-fill coolant slowly to prevent an airlock

Start engine and look for leaks

Run engine to normal operating temperature with heater on

Re-check coolant level

Change the belt every 60k miles. It's best do do it a few miles early, as I've heard of quite a few of them breaking at 70k miles or so. Hyundai/Kia uses interference engines so if it breaks it generally destroys the engine. An independent mechanic will charge $400 or so to do the job.

i have tried napa, advanced auto parts, auto zone, battery warehouse, noone had a battery for my 2007 Hyundai accent but CARQUEST did have it and said it is a newer and rare battery at this time ....1/4/2010

The lamp lights up when the ECU has sensed a problem. Under your steering column, there's an ECU diagnostic port. You can get tools that tell you what the problem is for around £30. They either work independently or hook up to your PC and don't harm the car.

Quite often it's a faulty sensor - if that's the case (on an old car) it may be most cost effective to use the diagnostic tool to simply clear the fault and turn off the ECU lamp. If not, then it'll tell you what's wrong. My light last came on because the transponder (fob) was faulty - had nothing to do with the engine!

Toyota recommends 90,000 miles. unless the water pump goes, this interval is fine.

It is really complicated but can be done.

First you have to remove metal clips that are attached to studs that regulate you A/C temps and air. One is located in the glove compartment. you will have to push the sides of the compartment in in order to pull it down to access the stud, which should be white. It is hooked on so you'll have to maneuver it off somehow, but that's not the difficult part.

When you've done this you have two more just like this located under the steering wheel. you might need a flashlight. These are the sluts of the three clips. it took me about an hour to get them off. and i had to get in an awkward position to access them. I suggest using a small flat head screwdriver to get these off by squeezing it in between the metal part wrapped around the white stud to loosen it up.

Once you've removed these metal clips from the stud things. the hard part is over. Then you open up you cup holders where your head unit is and there are two screws securing the panel. remove those and hust pull the panel off. but don't yank it be cause you still have the wire to yourr signal light and clock to unplug. So once you pull the panel loose unplug the wire harnesses and sort of lay the panel to the side

NOTE: the metal clips you released at the beginning will be attached to the panel when you remove so I suggest to make room for yourself to take the radio (HU), apply the e-brake and start your car and put the car in neutral or something just to get the shift out of the way so you can have room.

then continue to unscrew the four screw that hold the radio and then unplug the antenna and harness and you've got it made!!! GOOD LUCK

Oil filters generally shouldn't be hard to take off at all, however sometimes technicians will put them on there tight. I'm not sure about how your accent is set up but I have seen some cars with 2 filters, 1 for oil and 1 for trans oil so you need to be sure of which one you are taking off. Hope that helps you
