I had the same problem. What is happening is that the main circuit board for the instrument cluster is defective. The only way to fix the problem is to have the entire circuit board replaced.

The color codes are different depending on the model and year. Your best bet would be to go to a best buy, circuit city, or aftermarket stereo shop and buy the wiring harness for your car. They are relatively inexpensive and easy to install.

OD stands for Over Drive. There is a button the left side of the A/T shifter, pressit to get the over drive in. If over drive is off, the car will consume more gas staying in 3rd gear all the time.

Remove the 2 screws and take off the plastic piece.

The check engine light (service engine soon) comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, the problem is in the emissions or something that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions, but other causes can trigger the light to come on, too. To determine the cause, the vehicle will need to be taken to AutoZone or a shop that has an OBD2 scanner, or for 1995 and earlier models, an OBD1 scanner, While a scanner will not give you the magic answer, it will give you a code that narrows down the problem area.

How many miles you can go after the low fuel warning lights comes on will depend your exact vehicle. Most vehicles will allow you to go for approximately 25 miles.

The fuel tank on a 2005 Accent from Hyundai holds 11.9 gallons of gas. The Accent gets 25 mpg in the city, and 30 mpg on the highway.

Your symptom indicates a brake fluid leak. You should be able to find the leak near the brake calipers by looking for the presence of brake fluid (it is very oily and does not evaporate.) Brake fluid may have leaked out of the caliper assembly while you were shopping for your disc pads, or, maybe you opened the bleeder valve and forgot to close it. If fluid leaked out, it is possible that air leaked into the system and it is important to bleed all of the air out.

Bleeding the brake lines is easy except for when the bleeder valve is so stuck that it breaks when you try to open it. This is not uncommon! Use an anti-seize product like Liquid Wrench, WD-40, or equivalent to increase your odds of success. Use only a six-point socket of the exact right size! If it takes too much force to get it to open (counter clockwise) then let it soak in the anti-seize liquid you applied for a longer amount of time (overnight). When the bleeder valve loosens, turn it about a half turn open and then fluid will be ejected when the brake pedal is stroked in either the toward-the-floor, or, the back up direction.

Make sure you have enough brake fluid in your brake fluid reservoir by putting in clean new fluid from the parts store. Two or three strokes of the brake pedal for each wheel should bleed out all the air.

The bleeder valves look like grease fittings (zerk type) and are on the brake calipers very close to where the brake line attaches.

You do not want to mess up a brake job! What is more important than being able to stop? This is not a big ticket item to have your professional mechanics do it for you.

My guess would be about $250+ as Autozone lists one for my Sunfire

at $254.00.

Depending on which model you own, the fuel pump is

probably located inside the fuel tank. If this is the case,

you'll have to empty and drop the fuel tank to replace

the pump. It's a relatively big job. A Haynes or Chilton

manual for your car will you all the procedural details.

Sadly the replacement of front rotors on 95-99 accents require special tools anly availble at a service shop. Rotor replacement requires removal of the hubs and they are press fitted. Some shops have equipment to resurface the rotors while still installed on the vehicle if the rotors are not damaged.

It depends of the tire size that you are using. If you still have the factory 13 inch tires the correct air pressure is 32psi on the front tires and 35 on the back.

You most likely will need a bearing puller tool which you can ge at your local auto parts store. Some have loaners which you put a deposit down, and get your money back when you return the tool.

The 2002 Hyundai Accent is equipped with an electronic fuel injection pump. The failing of this unit can come gradually over a few days, or suddenly fail resulting in engine shut-off or even stranding. Failing fuel pumps may become noisier than normal is one common indication. Sputtering or loss of power during start-up is another classic symptom of an impending failure. Fuel pump diagnosis and replacement should be handed by trained professionals due to safety concerns from working with the vehicles fuel system.

To the left of your left foot, above the pull lever where you open your trunk. For the Flasher relay, you'll have to go behind the steering wheel column and take off that panel. Above the fuse box & to the left of the steering wheel there's a hollow rectangular box looking thing that's big enough to hold cigarettes. The hollow box has a lightbulb knob to the left of it. You can pry out the hollow box with a screwdriver to access the relay.

inside or outside??? if inside remove the trim piece around the door handle. there are 4 tabs, one at 12 oclock, 3 oclock 6 oclock and 9 oclock. remove the 2 screws in the indention for closing the door. first remove the triangle at the top right of the door this goes to the driver side mirror .carefully remove all of the locking pins in the door. there is a special tool for this but if you are careful and take your time 2 screwdrivers will also work. Start in the lower left corner and slowly pry the panel away. you will be able to see the pions as you are pulling away. slide the screwdrivers on either side of the pin and carefully pry open. oncle all pins are released the small trim piece by the mirror needs to be removed in the same way. there is one pin only. after the trim piece is removed lift the panel up to release it from the window chanell.
