you remove back cover to expose wires and connectors

then turn h7 bulb holder anticlockwise then the holder and bulb pull out

Remove cap from back of lamp release pin replace bulb

The rear upper strut mounts on this car are made of some kind of foam which breaks down over time you most likely just need them, be sure to get rubber ones from an aftermarket distributor. reach up on top of the strut under the nut/large washer and if you find little peices of foam and the large washer is really close to the strut mount, that will cause a lot of noise.

Take it to a shop It is very difficult to remove, involves taking out the radiator, removing motor mounts, jacking up motor, just to get it out. Back bolt on alternator is very difficult to install or remove, unless you have a complete mechanics toolset and a magnet to get it back in place, I would not attempt. Changed 1 at my house, took about 8 hours.

under the hood

It is located underneath timing belt cover, behind crank pulley.

They are in the rear cylinder head. You reach them by removing the air/fuel intake manifold. This is easier said than done, so if you've never done it before, look at it carefully before jumping in. It will require disconnection of many hoses and wire connections as well as the EGR valve and several bracket bolts located directly on the rear of the manifold. They are somewhat difficult to reach. If you tackle the job yourself, spend the extra money and replace the ignition wire set at the same time. There is no reason to go cheap only to have to come back later and put lots of manual labor into the same job twice.

Depending on what year model the fuse box (grey) is located behind the kick panel above the emergency brake. When open the fuses are listed on the front side of the fuse box access door. There is a fuse puller inside of the fuse box cover.

The parts cost $90 the labor is $400 plus..That should tell that th job is notan easy on. Many nuts vauum lines, and bracets including the intake manifol mst be removed....If you try it be careful and ake alot of pictures so you do not hae to ave it towed to the repair shop...

you need the following: baby oil and a wool pad.

1. put some baby oil on the wool pad

2. rotate in circular motion the pad with oil on the cover.

3. do not use too much strength , just lightly.

4. this should remove the heavy fog.

There is no fuel filter except in the fuel motor inside the tank. You don't need to change fuel filter in this model.

Drain plug or petcock at bottom or rear of radiator

or Remove lower radiator hose

The rpm of the engine - revolutions per minute

On the 3.5L engine it is inside of the timing cover. follow the wire that plugs in on top of the engine and through the timing cover which goes to the sensor. easier to get to if you get the power steering fluid reservoir out of your way.

I have a 2002 XG 350 it is near the rear wheel drivers side, , You will need to put a rust lubercant on it once or twice a few days a part then you need two wrences to remove it , . plus some gas will spill out after braking it lose wait till the gas stops, it wasnt a bad job at all,

I don't think there is a exact amount of km's. But when they start to make noise or there is any brake fade, you should have them changed. You rotors only need changing if they are scored, even then they can be re-machined @ a fraction of the cost. this does not always work and alot of shops would rather have you spend the xtra cash on new parts. hope that helps. cheers

I agree with what has been said, but would add that Auto Zone or the others like them, can get you some very, very sweet prices for pads and rotors. I just replaced the rotors simply cause they were so inexpensive; ~$25 each. Easy, easy brake job. 30 minutes a wheel, fronts.

You have to remove the headlights above to reach down and remove the two screws on each side and pull the unit out of the housing and change them, long process and it sucks to have to realign everything once done.
