Why did privatization start in India?
Privatization means shifting of public ownership to private or personal. Before privatization came into being in India...Everything was under government control. Every sector, every field was under public ownership. As time passed by the country started to grow..started to develop even more...and that was a load that was sort of getting heavier on the shoulders of our the then government. It was getting difficult for the Indian Government to handle and maintain the smooth functioning.
Hence inorder to curb that the government allowed privatization to be started in India
Is price elasticity of demand considered elastic or inelastic with the automotive industry?
I'm assuming you're asking this in terms of economics.
In which case, yes the auto industry is demand elastic. This can be seen from a few views.
Firstly, within vehicles themselves, there are many brands and models available for purchase. None of which is exacly like the other. Therefore the consumer has the ability to easily switch products for another make/model of vehicle.
Secondly, the auto industry itself as a whole has viable alternatives. If the prices of the entire auto industry were to rise, then consumers have the ability to purchase other forms of transportation, including but no limited to: public transportation, bicycles, scooters, mopeds etc.
Examples of this may be seen in some lower income countries where vehicle purchases are low relative to other forms of transportation.

Who won the 1965 India-Pakistan war?
The war was fought between the Indian Army and the erstwhile princely state forces opposed by Pak Army , paramilitary and local militias from the NWFP (the Pakistani forces referred to themselves as the Azad Kashmir forces . The princely state forces were unprepared for the initial assault of AZK forces, having been deployed thinly on the borders of the princely state for purposes of maintaining border security and deterring militant activity. The princely state defenses quickly collapsed in the face of the assault, some individuals and units joining the AZK forces.
The initial successes by AZK forces were not vigorously pressed, giving an opportunity for India to airlift its forces into Kashmir after the state had acceded to India.. With Indian reinforcements opposing AZK forces, the offensive ran out of steam towards the end of 1947, except in the High Himalayas sector where AZK forces made substantial progress until they were turned back at the outskirts of Leh in late June 1948. Throughout 1948 many small-scale battles were fought, but none gave a strategic advantage to either side and the fronts gradually solidified along what would became known as the LOC. A formal cease-fire was declared on 31 Dec 48.
What is the impact of Globalisation on the Indian history?
Depends on which "Indian" your referring to. The American Indian, (Native Americans), or the inhabitants of the country of India. In both cases though there is a similarity in the fact that globalization at least in start had a detrimental impact on both in their first encounters with it. For Native Americans the end impact turned out to be sovereign countries nestled within the U.S.A. The course that followed to their now current situation is one legal trickery, brutual force, and at the time unforseen enviromental impacts. As for the country of India globalization had near the same impacts in the short term but the end is different. If your curious as to the impact of globalization on the people of India do some research on the East India Trading Company.
