Why IE does not access some sites?
My IE is able to access all the sites. It may be the case that you have not set your IE to default level. I mean in Internet option click on security and set everything means(Internet,Local Intranet,Restricted sites and trusted sites) to default level. Also in advanced settings click on restore default(for IE v6) or Restore advanced settings(for IE v7). Click Apply and OK
Everything should work normal now.
Yes some sites do need java installed on your PC to open them. So do install Java(JVM) so that you can open those sites.

How can you find out if you are talking to an Internet predator?
One of the things I have found being on the internet for over 20 years is that people like this have a method of getting info. This is gold for them and they will always answer a question with a question. They ask a lot of questions about you and your life. With time they can figure out who you are and where you are. They lie and they will make up things so you need to think about what they say. They will get friendly too fast and call you names like sweetie, sugar, dear, or doll and tell you how wonderful and beautiful you are. A stranger, and they are a stranger, doesn't know you or who you are that fast. They work for trust from you and if that takes a day, a month, or a year they will take that time. Think of it this way: Would you go down to the mall, walk up to a stranger, and invite them home? You wouldn't, but on the Internet you are doing just that. This person can be anywhere in the world and they can be in prison, homeless, or in cave. If you think you are talking to one it is best to stop and don't talk to them. Block them.
What best describes a privacy statement regarding the internet?
There is none. At anytime your ISP can check your activity if they suspect anything illegal, although it's highly unlikely. Common tip offs are very high bandwidth users at odd ours.
First and foremost - the remote computer (the web server the website is on) must know your IP address to begin with, so that a connection can be established at all. This information must be processed by the remote host in order to fulfill your request. If you do not accept this, then discontinue using the Internet as some computer somewhere will have to see your IP address at some point. You always have the right to decline this service by choosing not to use it. By continuing to use it, it is assumed that you know of this fact and agree to it.
As for the other data (by some considered sensitive), like browsing history and cookies - a remote server cannot gather this information on its own - it has to have it sent to it from your computer. It is possible to obtain this information through various malicious means - mainly by exploiting known security vulnerabilities of web browsers, by tricking them into sending this information to where it shouldn't be sent. This is why it is important to always keep your software updated at all times - new security holes are found and fixed every day.
As for keystrokes - no, a remote server cannot by itself record your keystrokes, nor is it possible through the use of security holes in web browsers, commonly. Technically it is possible, but such holes are considered emergency-level problems and fixed almost immediately (most commonly at debugging stages).
For a server to receive your keystrokes, a separate application (program) must be run on your computer, or a new piece of hardware must be added to it physically. The software is most commonly known as a "trojan horse", or a "software keylogger", and is a form of malicious software (badware). It has to intercept your keystrokes and then send them to the server on its own. The best way to protect against such threats is to carefuly monitor what you download and run on your computer, typically using an up-to-date antivirus and a firewall.
As for hardware means, a device similar to a keyboard (understanding its protocol, but without any keys) can be plugged into your PC, between it and your real keyboard. This device can store your keystrokes within its memory, and then may at some point send this data to a remote location. The best way to protect against this kind of threat is to keep an eye on everyone accessing your machine physically. Of course, it's very hard to impossible to place a typical physical keylogger in a laptop if you're using the built-in keyboard.

SMAC is a powerful tool used to change the MAC(Media Access Control) address. It's easy to use MAC Address Changer (Spoofer) for Windows 7, VISTA,, 2008, 2003, XP, 2000 systems, regardless of whether the network card manufacturers allow this option or not. SMAC is developed by Certified Professionals (CISSP, CISA, CIPP, and MCSE). It is also great for MAC Address Lookup.
SMAC does not change the hardware burned-in MAC addresses. SMAC changes the "software based" MAC addresses, and the new MAC addresses you change will sustain from reboots.
SMAC is created and maintained by Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditors (CISA), and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE), and professional software engineers.
Why is it always your mothers maiden name?
Because its the one of the most memorable names. For example, your mother takes your fathers name if they wed and so (unless you pretty much have no interest in your mother) you should know their maiden name. Also because if it were you surname that's easy, to track a mothers maiden name would mean searching through wedding records.
The Economic Espionage Act is designed for such threats.
Does Furcadia virus computers?
Unless you get it from an unreliable source, Furcadia shouldn't have any malicious data with it.
My advice: get it from the site itself ( www.furcadia.com ).
I have never detected any malware being downloaded with Furcadia. However, if there is any malware that comes with Furcadia, any simple virus detection would be able to tell you.
My advice: Use Firefox to download anything.
How did my firewall get turned off when I didn't do that?
Being a computer novice, and not being a professional, this answer will be purely from a laymans standpoint. I have a Microsoft operating system and use Norton-Symantec Internet Security Suite for my security. I have noticed what appears to me that when I get a Microsoft Update that parts of my Norton softeware have been turned OFF. I have to assume that Bill Gates and his crew are responsible for this. If my suspicions are correct, it is possible that this is how your firewall is being turned off.
dude, its a scam

This site is another Virtual Private Network site for communicating with others. It claims to also have a firewall to prevent hackers and others from breaking in. It is Windows only and although it is hosted in the US it is run in and from Germany. To set up an account therefore will need a working knowledge of the German language.
