You have to remove the panel which goes around the stereo and the compartment if you have it. It's better to start from top part (top right and left parts). Unless you using it for Ebooks or you have really bad eyes I would get the Ipod touch. Like $200 to get an Ipad with a bigger screen isn't worth it!

welll they all have the capibility to have music in them... u just have to syncronize the music inside of the ipod through itunes or other music websites

can be replaced but its very expensive, so you get an idea is better to get a new ipod that to replace the screen

You should think about what you want to put on your ipod. If you want a lot of movies and tv shows, you should get the 32 or 64 gigabyte version. If you just want some apps then the 8 gigabyte version might be ok, if you don't need a ton of big apps, like gaming apps.

Well this same thing happened to me but it was with a different brand but what i did was let the ipod die so the apple goes away then you should be able to charge it again. It might take some time to let it die deppending on how full the battery is. Hope it solves your problem.
