If you are looking for the fuel cutoff relay, sometimes called the "fuel inertia switch", on my 1994 XJS it is located on the passenger side....open the door...and you'll see a small plastic box just below the dash on the kick panel. There's a hole at the top to reset the switch or you can take the cover off to make sure the switch is depressed. This switch is supposed to shut off the fuel pump in case of an accident but sometimes it shuts off when hitting a sharp bump or you take a very sharp turn.

I've recently replaced mine. The industry standard code is "075" the dimensions in mm are 242(l)x175(w)x175(h)

For the XJ-S I'd recommend one with plenty of cranking power. The last three digits of the DIN code show this. 060 for example is 600Amps

How do you change the oil on a 1989 xjs jaguar?
For the V12: Assuming you mean engine oil, remove 22mm a/f drain plug and washer from rear of sump. Drain oil - preferably when hot. There's a lot of it (about 10 litres) so have a big container. Clean the plug and sump near to it and replace plug. Then remove oil filter on left side) - there will be a cupful of oil coming out with it, and fit new one. Re-fill with engine oil (ideally 20W-50, but 10-40 will do) - about 10 litres. Run engine until oil pressure starts reading. Check/top up oil.
For 6 cylinder engines: Similar to above but drain plug is much larger, and the oil filter is on its side (on left of engine) so more difficult to get at and makes a mess. Oil capacity is less, about 8 litres. 10-40 id fine.

The question does not give enough information. If you want to install an aftermarket radio then I suggest you take it to a store who sells and installs aftermarket radios. The reason being the plug that Jaguar uses and that is pluged into the OEM radio has roughly 14 pins in it and a installer probibly has a connector which you will need to connect the cable to the aftermarket radio. On the other hand if you are installing a OEM Jaguar replacement, which would be my choice (Keep Jaguar, Jaguar) the removel and install of the OEM radio is easy. 1. Apply the emergency brake and place the shift lever in reverse (engine off) then go to #2 2. Disconnect the battery before you do make sure you have the radio code if your radio has one. 3. Open the center counsol and remove the two screws that hold in the ashtray in then close the ashtray lid you need to in order to remove lift the ash tray out and disconnect the connectors to the cigarette lighter. 4.Next you need to remove the trim on the gearshift With a thin and I mean thin screw driver gently pry between the shifter and trim ring at the 10 oclock 2 oclock and 6 oclock positions to release the trim ring remove the trim ring and unscrew the shifter knob and remove. 5. where the ashtray was attached to to the center counsol (the ski slope) reach udeneith and find two large plastic wing nuts remove them. Now the center piece can be removed. 6. The climate control, clock and radio are held in by a plastic frame held to the counsol by six screws remove them and gently remove the frame. I said gently because you dont want to break the frame. Its almost impossible o find a replacement for it. 7. Disconnect the connecting cables and remove the radio from the frame 8. Installation is just the reverse of the removel. Hope this helps Mike

How do you remove the memory seat control module in a 1995 juagar xjs convertible?
take out the two screws at the front of the carpet shell compartment, just in front of the drivers seat. Lift the front and pull to remove that carpet shell that covers the module. At the right side of the module, between the module and the tranny tunnel, there is a clip type of thingy that has a tab with a whole in it's front side. Take a screw driver and lever the tab forward, which releases the clip and allows the module to be lifted at the tab end, to allow the tabs in the left side to be levered out by lifting the unit out.
If you are having drivers seat problems, I would be interested in how you do, as I too, am having an issue with the drivers seat on a 93 XJS Convertible. The seat is inop and it looks as though I have to move it fore and aft in order to get to the torx screws that hold the seat in.
Anyone got the answer to my question?

Power Operated Hood - Manual Operation
In the event of a failure in the operation of the hood it is recommended that you contact your nearest Jaguar Dealer for assistance. If you are unable to contact a Jaguar Dealer the have a requirement to either raise or lower the hood the system is equipped with a manual control valve located on the body of the pump
NOTE: Due to the resistance of the hydraulic fluid in the operating rams some people may find it difficult to apply sufficient effort to fully manually raise or lower the hood.
To gain access to the control valve, remove the trim panel situated inside the rear storage compartment (use a coin to release the two slotted fasteners)
Turn the control valve clockwise to the position marked 'MANUAL'
WARNING: WHEN MOVING THE HOOD MANUALLY ENSURE THAT HANDS AND FINGERS ARE KEPT CLEAR OF THE HOOD LINKAGE
NOTE: The rear quarter windows cannot be opened or closed manually, i.e. if hte hood is being closed manually the rear quarter windows will remain in the open position.
To raise the hood:
Manually push the hood upwards from the rear and then pull it forwards until it is fully raised.
Press the button on the end of the hood handle and push the handle down. Engage the hook in the latch and then push the handle back into position. Repeat this procedure for the the other hood handle.
Turn the control valve anti-clockwise to the position marked 'ELECTRIC'
Slide the trim cover back into position and secure with the two slotted fasteners.
