Almost all trucking companies are insured by insurers that require truck drivers to have at least two years' truck driving experience. Most truck driver training schools will lie to you and tell you that the training they provide will exempt you from this requirement. You heard right - most will lie to you.

I have been in the Utilities Engineering field for over ten years & have a background (education) in Mechanical Engineering. However, a felony which I committed in my early twenties has now came back to haunt me. It appears that after "9-11", all employers have a extensive background performed on each & every applicant. And, as you may well know, it is against the law to not consider a applicant due to a crimes that had occurred & paid for in the past. Please don't confuse this with a ex-felon applying for a bank teller position.
We live in a world of double standards but if your an ex-felon, I'm sure you are aware of this. It falls under "You did the crime now do the time!" Yet, after completing any & all obligations, they are not done with you. You will be retried & retried & punished & re-punished throughout your life.

As a team building facilitator, I design learning sessions, games, and activities where participants can draw lessons that will help them accomplish their goals and build better relationship.
