Jordan, one of the countries in the middle east, is extremely awsome. I have been there and was amazed by some of the places they have there. My favorite place is the dead sea. It is the lowest point on earth. They have plenty of fabulous resorts there. I went to the marriot and I had a blast. The best part is that when you swim in the sea, you actually float! You can lie on your back and literally just float and read a book in the middle of the sea! or you can just lie in the sea and watch the sunset. Its beautiful!
My second favorite place there is wadi rum (Rum valley). It is desert made of soft red sand. You camp there and at night, you will see tens of shooting stars all night as there are no lights what so ever in the area! You can go hicking up the mountains there as well or do desert sports. It is a very beatiful place.
I also visited petra, which is an ancient city that is named one of the new 7 wonders of the world.
Anything you want is available in Jordan, but you need someone to help you find what you need, as it is not easy to find places there. They have bars and clubs, but only in certain parts of amman (the capital city), so you need a local to help you out.
I think its extremely awsome, and I will probably visit some day as there are still some places that I didnt have time to visit e.g. wadi al mujib and jerash.
