I assume you mean "ketchup which is 100% tomato", since all ketchup is 100% ketchup.
The equivalent of 100% tomato ketchup would be passata (sieved tomatoes), or tinned tomatoes, or even tomato puree. (Regular ketchup also contains vinegar, sugar and spices to make it taste like ketchup).
Does white wine vinegar in ketchup ferment into alcohol?
No. However many foods are produced through fermentation, such as bread, sauerkraut, and dozens of others.
Hello, Jimmony Billy Bob here.
I am the owner of Heinz Weinz (We make ketchup)
Ketchup is my life, it is i tell you, it is. I have pride in sealing each little bottle of Heinz Weinz ketchup, I DO!
Yes, Indeed.
So, the process starts with "Mush Mush Mushing."
You need, 1000 eggs, 2 crumpled leafs, 9 curtains and 1 fifth of a tomato to make a PERFECT bottle of Heinz Weinz ketchup. You mush them all together for 1 hour in order to get the perfect flavour from both the tomato and the curtain.
After, there is the "Zingt!"
You "Zingt!" a lemon and squeese it out onto the "Mush Mush Mushing!" for which you have jut done.
The final stage is packing and sealing. Here at Heinz Weinz, we are enviroimentilists and so we use 3% less packaging. You package it in a bottle made of 4$ plastic, 96% carrot. :) We are cool. When you seal it, in order to not let the juices and flavour escape, you seal it with PVA glue. yes, indeed.
Do not try this at home unless you have the "Curtain 3000!" Buy from all small shops now, but remember, ask for Heinz Weinz perfect ketchup and enjoy with a plate of onions :)
Thank you, glad i helped.
Jimmony Billy Bob.
(KETCHUP IS MY LIFE!"

Can you Keep Heinz unopened Ketchup for over 2 years?
Yes the amount of preservative and vingar they put in that stuff should keep it for longer than that.
Technically it wasn't invented in 1884. As early as the 1600s, the Chinese made a kind of pickled fish mixed in with spices and called it ke-tsiap. And by the 1700s, it had found its way over to Malaysia, where it was discovered by explorers from Britain. By about 1740, it had ended up becoming popular in England. Then, 50 years later, North Americans decided to add tomatoes into the original recipe, and that is the ketchup we now know.
The Spanish family trio of Lucía Muñoz, Lola Muñoz, Pilar Muñoz

What does the 57 on the Heinz Ketchup bottle mean?
In the early days of the Heinz company, they wanted to highlight the variety of their products. They chose the number 57 arbitrarily to show how many they had. The ad read "57 varieties" and the slogan "Heinz 57" stuck.
The "57 varieties" referred to the number of products that they had, although at the time they did have more products than 57, but H.J. Heinz thought that it was a magical (faerie princess) number...
An urban myth has it that if you tap the 57 on the side of the glass bottle in a restaurant, the ketchup will start to com out. This information is (not) yet to be evaluated by the FDA [Food and Drug Administration to nerd you out!] so there is no way to prove it.
Has ketchup been used as medicine in war?
For a while tomato extract was thought to have many healing principles (which isn't too far off since tomatoes are so darn good for you!). After looking around for a little while I could only find rumors and not so creditable looking sources linking ketchup to being used for medicinal reasons in war. I do know that ketchup has been a part of the provisions for many military divisions because of its high antioxidant count and ability to cover up really foul tasting foods.

This isn't from a film. It is an internet meme based on a similar quote from a book which became a film.
