First, you laptop has to have TV capability (was it set up for it when you purchased it?) If so, then you need to purchase a male-male SVGA cable (remember, the TV itself should have a SVGA outlet labeled "PC" on the back). An alternative way is to use a S-Video cable with RCA jacks. I love having a desktop computer, but I also like have a portable compute as well. I purchased and inexpensive laptop and then purchased a larger monitor and a wireless keyboard and mouse. I just connect when I want to work at my desk. I now have the best of both worlds.

The power supplied by a typical household outlet is the wrong type and voltage to be used by most consumer electronics directly, including laptops. Well it depends on what you want to get it for school, work, Gaming, etc. If you want a laptop that is more for work and school I would go with a Mac. If you want a gaming laptop I would go with a dell Alienware laptop they are about $750-$1800 but they have some problems I have read about. But I would have to say go with a Toshiba laptop they have good customer service good laptops and you can customize some to the way you want it to be. I had a Satellite L655 not the best laptop it had a Pentium Intel so it was not good for gaming. I like to play games so I customized my own laptop it is very easy to do I upgraded the Intel to an i7 it is the best out their to have for school, work, Gaming, etc. I hope I helped you on what to look for.

A laptop is a scaled down desktop computer with all the capabilities of a desktop computer. A PDA is a scaled down laptop with limitations due to its size and memory compatibility. Both are portable devices where a desktop computer is not portable.

without knowing the exact specifications/serial number of your battery I can only tell you that grade A means it has a higher capacity (measured in mAh or Ah) and a lower internal resistance (impedance) giving you a longer lasting battery than similar batteries of grade B or C, so basically its more pricy and better than its lower graded cousins. each manufacturing factory may have their own standard so grade B from a decent factory may be better then grade A from a lousy one etc

There are different ways to do this. I would start with the CPU. Of the computers you are considering, look up the CPU and the benchmarks for it and decide the minimum that you need. For instance, I will not use any of the older Intel boards using any of the Pentium series processors. However, of the newer stuff, I prefer Intel.

Then you do the same with the video chipset used. AMD and Nvidia are both decent, but you have to look at the series vary carefully. I would go to a benchmarking site and also study what Wikipedia and the manufacturer's site has to say about the specifications.

From there, you look at other things that are important. Consider the RAM and hard drive size, what versions of Windows it can run. For older equipment, you can run Windows 98 and Windows 2000, but for new stuff, you want to be able to run the latest version of Windows. Also consider what ports and sockets you need.

Also, when shopping for computers, check the user reviews and the ratio of complaints to compliments. You might find that one brand of pre-assembled computers is better than another.

The best one being I7 if your into high graphical gaming and need a processor to keep up with it and other things like multitasking on large software's I7 has 4 cores so you can simply load your computer with a lot of programs running at the same time without any lag or crashes.

Get I5 if your into a small amount of gaming and do a lot of smaller tasks like word processing and the Internet.

Get I3 if you multitask with smaller software's this being again word processing and the Internet. You can game with an I3 but make sure you have the right hardware to run the game with this being the right RAM and Graphics card mainly, but try and get a laptop with a HDD with a fast transfer rate to load games at a faster speed. This applying with I7 and I5 but when you buy these processors the Laptop should come with high end Hardware.

Normally you slot in the DVD and it plays automatically via Windows media player or some other DVD software.
