Two make work easier for those who work on computer but use to travell a lot. By the help of lap top now they can do work while traveling and it is also use by others as potable personal computer easy to carry :)

You can play blu-rays on a laptop with a blu-ray external drive. You can also play blu-rays legally without one backing up the entire blu-ray ISO to the hard drive and playing it with UFUSoft Blu-ray Player. However in order to do so you must have a moderate to go video card to do it with but I would bet that it could be done with a computer with a 2 GHZ cpu.

Please keep in mind that this is legal under fair use which need I remind you is legal to do if you have a physical copy of the blu-ray disc.

All laptops are different, but in general, there are usually tabs, screws or some other fastening system to hold the laptop in place. You can usually send away for a replacement keyboard, then remove the old one and pop in the new one, making sure to connect any cables EXACTLY the way the old ones came out.

Try E-Bay for a replacement keyboard that will fit your laptop. You'll need to know the make, model and possibly serial number to find the right keyboard.

People are buying laptops as desktop replacements more and more nowadays, primarily for the convenience and because laptops have performance and technology levels entirely on par with all but the highest-end desktops, so why not have something portable, etc. In the future, it is likely that desktops and laptops will no longer be distinct and that all computers will be made primarily as what we call "laptops" today, with options for adding larger screens and keyboards when sitting at a desk.

In a nutshell? Way, much more than they ever should! Or need to! I think Wik. P.,hit the nail right on the head when they said that they were way more 'overbuilt' than they need to be. AND because of that, I think they have also had WAY more systemic issues with failing systems, and programs, and utilities, than Sony would like to talk about. (At least imyhb) I picked up a used VGN-FS series, and it has been one thing right after another since I got it. And because of the way their systems and software and utilities are all bundled together, every thing that kicks on it turns out to be a MAJOR nightmare that ends up taking huge amounts of time to fix. First it was the sound, then the touchpad crapped out, Then, of course, I had huge probs getting the Vaio to "see" any of the peripherals I had plugged into it's handy-dandy 4 USB ports. I have a portable external floppy, and a mouse, or 2, (that I now NEEDED to have cuz of the touchpad). Of course none of them would work when plugged into the Vaio. They worked GREAT on any of the dozen or so, pc's I've used em on; took 5-10 sec's, went "bink", and worked fine! So be prepaired for long hours of re-loading drivers, and configuring utilities. And DON'T expect Sony tec support to help you out too much either. It was ALMOST more work to get tech support to pay attention, and try and get somebody who knows about this stuff. I would have to say they were about as much help as drought insurance in New Orleans. In fact, that Vaio, (that I started warmly referring to as "H.A.L.") IS still messed up.

most of the smaller laptops (net books) dont have a disc drive which is where you put your disc in sorry mate. because they are just so small and thin that it would be near impossible to have one. If you really wanted you could buy a USB disc drive
