If you have your old key you can call a local auto lock smith and they will be able to use that key to make another one. If you don't have that key then you need the key number for your car to cut that key for your car. Last option go back to the dealer and they will cut the key for you, it is costly though. Good Luck

Hello That is a pretty big job. I would get a haynes manuel. I would also change the idler and tensioner rollers and timing belt and you are good for another 90,000 miles. I have done two. ost should be around 300.oo for everything. Take your tome and make sure you line up the timing marks. The hardest thing was getting off the harmonic balancer. I would suggest a high torque impact driver. I have heard of putting a wrench on and pulling the coil wire off and cranking the key. Its a all day job. good luck.

After you take the cover off the engine there are three square electrical looking things and when you unscrew all those and take them out the spark plugs lie beneth there.

You should be fine with 91 octane. The higher the octane, the more you engine will like it, but 91 octane is enough for your ES 350.

This is a common issue with Lexus, mainly with the older LS400's. Basically, the instrument cluster needs to be replaced, this can only be done through Lexus. A new cluster to be installed including labor will run anywhere from $750 - $1000. If you can find an instrument cluster at a salvage yard, Lexus will send it off to match the mileage from the original cluster, then install it for 2 - 3 hours of labor cost.

Where is the cabin filter located.

The bulbs go in from the rear. You may have to remove the light asy, by removing the top plastic rivet and sliding the whole assembly toward the front to disengage the three plastic assembly tabs.

Bank 1 sensor 1 is between the radiator and engine when you open the hood. It looks like a spark plug screwed into the header coming out of the engine, going down, and feeding into the exhaust.

Bank 2 sensor 1 is between the firewall and the engine (back side of engine). It also looks like a spark plug screwed into the header coming out of the engine, going down, and feeding into the exhaust. Hard to see unless you get under the car.

The 3rd sensor is on the top side of the exhaust pipe just after the catalytic converter. The connection for this one is underneath the carpet under the driver seat.

EDIT: I have a 1996 Lexus ES300. Unless is more than one engine, then bank 1 is the BACK of the engine, between the engine and the firewall. I checked with two Lexus service centers and also looked at the spark plug wires. The number one cylinder is on the back, not the front of the engine.

your foot...the more you push the gas pedal the higher the gauge goes, otherwise... a bad gauge (most expensive--and rare) or a bad SIGNAL to gauge(less expensive and common)...read up on the circuit testing..:) everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the local library should have a SHOP manual available in the reference section--make copies of the right info and read up..you'll be a pro in no time ...good luck:)

I'm guessing that is your TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) which will light up if your tire pressure needs to be checked.

2 bolts. remove hinge bolt (back Top left when looking from the passenger wheel). Adjustment bolt. forward bottom (difficult to get to. Between alt and fan blade. Don't remove just loosen.) Once loosened slip belt off and new one on.

The rear speakers cannot be removed without first removing the rear seat. It is not too hard to do, but is time consuming. You can pull up on the seat bottom from the front and it will pop up so it can be removed. Then remove two 12MM bolts on the left and right at the bottom of the seat back and push the seat back upwards to remove. There will be 6 push clips that need to be removed along the bottom of the rear deck panel along with the left and right pillar covers. These pop off also. Once these are removed, pull the 3rd brakelight assembly towards you and disconnect the wiring plug from it. After this is removed, pull the rear deck panel towards you and slide it down out of the way. You can then access the speaker bolts and/or wiring. Good luck!!

Even then it is most obnoxious to get in there. You'll also (obviously) have to take off at least one belt, which means loosening the alternator (possibly), and the belt tensioner bolt. On a 2007 vehicle why wouldn't you go back to the dealer? A check engine light means something is wrong with the emission control system. Your vehicle is under warranty and the dealer will fix the problem without charge. Came goes for the problem with your cruise control. With that said, many auto parts stores, like Auto Zone, have code readers that will tell you what is wrong and turn the check engine light off, usually without $ charge. Another way is to disconnect the battery for a half-hour or so. Everything will be reset, including your radio presets and the engine will run a little strange while the computer reprgeams itself.

You can change the rear brake pads on a lexus GS3000 by loosening the lug nuts slightly for the wheels, raise and support the vehicle safely, remove the wheels.

It could be a number of different problems. The first thing to do is go to an auto parts store that offers free power-train error code readings, the scanner may answer the question. If not, possible causes are: dirty radiator, bad coolant temperature sensor, bad thermostat, bad waterpump, bad cooling fan or cooling fan relay/fuse. Or it could be a blown head-gasket, which will make your oil light brown and foamy like chocolate milk or make your coolant recovery tank smell like exhaust fumes.

I'd be suspicious of the dimmer switch or a wiring connector between the dimmer switch and the headlights.

It means your Traction Control system which controls your rear wheel spin is off. If you did not turn it off it means that there is a malfunction with the system. I'd recommend you take it in to get it looked at and repaired.
