Coming from the an Alienware guy, I would hate to say it... yes. it is just a keyboard. it comes with a program to change the lights. it is a normal USB keyboard.

In the end, I would not spend $99 on a board for a computer that unlike the keyboards on Alienware PCs do not light up... it would be like putting pimped out tires on a sunfire 0_o

If you do have an Alienware PC that keyboard will look mint with it.

There is no operating system that supports 'all' applications. However, Windows (not including Windows Vista) seems to be the most compatible with most applications, and Mac OS X seems the least compatible because software must be specifically made for Mac, and even some software does not have Mac capabilities.

Pros:

1. It should already be installed in Mac Book Pros

2. A good editing tool for Adobe Flash animation as well as Illustrator

3. Easy to figure out after a short time period

4. A better tool to use when dealing with amateur or simple short films

Cons:

1. If the film isn't saved to a certain type, the image messes up

2. A bit complicated when inserting sound

3. The quality of the video is less then when it was filmed or animated

You can reset the firmware by turning off the Mac, unplugging all cords from it, waiting 15 seconds, and turning it back on.

You can reset the PRAM by turning it off, pressing the power button to turn it back on, quickly pressing and holding the Command+Option+R+P keys before the gray screen comes on, and holding those keys till you hear the startup sound for a second time.

To reset the entire installation of OS X, you can insert the install disk that came with the Mac, turn it off, hold down the "C" key, turning it on, and then you will be presented with different options.

Go to "windows" control panel, and click on "sounds" icon. In the listing, find the one for AOL, then click once on it, then hit "browse" at the bottom and find another "wav" file to load instead of the standard irritating "You've Got Mail" canned voice. You could replace it with a bell, or any "wav" file you have stored on your PC or MAC.

The single biggest difference is the chipset. Apple uses a Motorola chipset, Dell uses Intel (or Intel based) chipset.

The Mac's Garageband, iMovie etc. applications only work with Mac OS X. There is no Windows version to work on other PCs.

Many of Microsoft's USB Sidewinder products will work with Mac OS X. The addition of the GamePad Companion software (See links below) will allow for configuring the device with most Mac OS X software.

The qualifications you need to work at Apple depends on the type of job you're interested in. A software developer needs a BS in Computer Science and programming skills.

Microsoft is constantly reworking their formats causing compatibility problems between the various versions of their software. Office 2007 was particularly problematical. Microsoft has released converter software to assist in sharing documents.

with itunes, it would just sync 1 way, meaning itunes to ipod. if you try to connect another ipod to your itunes, it would just wipe out the ipod.

check out ipod rip software. something like xilisoft.

But keep in mind that taking stuff without paying for it is theft and could have consequences for both you and the other person. Unless the other person owns the distribution rights for music they are not allowed to pass it on to others.

Unbuntu can be skinned to look like and behave like OSX (I did that in about 15 minuets)

OSX in a sense is a Desktop environment, but is very resource intensive in contrast to openbox.

(If you do it right, a computer running Linux and openbox can boot to login in 15 seconds)

(Linux is a derivative of UNIX)

So basically, OSX is a way for you to have your computer do the work you want it to do.

It does not fit inside of a Mac Pro; the opening is too small for the tray to come out. But, my Mac Pro did see it.
