Apple Inc. produced many computers that used the G4 RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Code) CPU produced by Motorola.
Today the cheapest G4 is likely the eMac but shipping will likely balance that saving out since they weigh about the same as five gallon pail full of cats (live ones of course).
Powerbooks and MacBooks will likely run you anywhere from $300 to $700 by 2010 prices. Desktops including the PowerMacs depending on the model and extras included between $300 and $1000.
Of course the market changes all the time and that price could lower slightly over time or go up because of the collector aspect of these early computers.
If you'd like to get a taste for what a pail of cats is worth, visit one of the famous open bidding sites and type in Apple G4 or eMac and you can get a pretty good idea what the market will bear on various models.
