Depends. A Macintosh and Windows have serious compatibility issues. Games from the previous generation are just now getting added to the list. Go to apple.com and see a list. Starcraft is one of the few games actually compatible (if you download a file). Otherwise, you are going to have to look for special MAC labels on games or games that say they are compatible for PC and MAC (Games for Windows - Halo, Crysis, Battlefield are all uncompatible). In terms of performance, a MAC is perfect for gaming. If you have to, buy a software that allows both OS to perform on the computer. All this requires is a Windows OS disc. However, doing such will slow your MAC considerably.

Probably the easiest way to find it would be to go to System Preferances/ Network/ select Advanced/ then upper menu Hardware.
You need to select the Location on the left first to find which one you want, the ethernet, WiFi, etc.
