If you put enough research, work, and energy into it ALL spells work.

I suggest however you be absolutely certain of your motivations, ethics and abilities before you undertake any spell.

If you are an experienced practitioner, you know what you are getting into. If you are relatively new to magic, I suggest you do a lot of research before getting involved in a spell. More often than not, working in the mundane world at your relationship, your inter-personal skills and your true reasons.

Magic is NEVER an easy way to get things done.

The only way to let your own inner magic is if you have a person to help you with it.God will help you with that no doubt.

The reality of it is there are so many different forms of magic, rituals and ways to carry it out that if I were to sit here and list it until I stop.. I would probably be dead. Many (and I do mean many) of people have composed volumes and volumes of information on magics that has been handed down through families, by friends, via the internet or they created themselves. Saying from personal experience, you learn a bunch of different forms of magic that you didn't know exsisted and guess what? The surprise never stopss. Even if you begin practicing candle magic for instance and perform simple spells with one candle being infused with energy you will later find in your nonstop education that there are more ways you can use these fantastic fire sticks. You can put them in a circle on the borders of your Circle for a ritual. You can place them in certain positions to make a form of some symbol or shape to perform a special spell of your own making. You can throw it at your cat if he claws you in the middle of your ritual set up.... not really...

So yeah, long answer short.. there's too many to list. But with study and patience, you will find yourself with enough information to fill up a bunch of books.

-The use of nails - clippings from, finger nails, toe nails as well as hair and other "personal" items, is to connect the "working" with the person (the original source of the personal items). This should always be done with the knowledge and permission of the person, however there are some spiritual paths that do not follow this "rule."

- The use of nails - construction type will depend on the material they are made from and the kind of "working" they are used in.
For example, iron horse-shoe nails were once used as a talisman to protect someone from fairies and their glamour. From the belief that cold iron repelled the wee folk (and many other magical beings).
Or they can be used in workings to "build" things. I know a good prosperity spell that uses copper nails to "build a secure job." I have also seen them used in binding spells.

There is -- and it works!

As a Witch myself, I must say that instead of casting a spell to get rich, you should cast a spell to bring you a job or the means to get a job. No spell in witchcraft will manifest without conscious efforts on your part to make the manifestation become reality.

Is the following speculative scenario possible?

For over a decade, Houdini publicly exposed fraudulent spirit mediums who, in turn, finally decided to strike back at him in order to protect their business. They hired Whitehead to rough him up in order to get Houdini to leave them alone.

They did not intend to kill him yet the punches resulted in appendicitis. The appendicitis became acute and his appendix later burst, flooding Houdini's abdominal cavity with lethal streptococcus germs. The next day the ruptured appendix was removed but the poison was too much to overcome and Harry died six days later.

While I think that there is a reasonable chance that this is close to what actually happened, it is not provable by what is known at this time.

But the story may still interest you so let's look into it further.

Harry Houdini, the world famous escape artist and magician, died in 1926 at the age of 52 after suffering from complications of appendicitis nine days after four very severe blows to the stomach. He claimed he could take punches from anyone, yet this time, he was caught off guard and was not able to firm up his muscles.

While many people claim that trauma to the abdomen has never been known to cause appendicitis, here is what his attending physician, Dr. Kennedy, said: "It is the only case of traumatic appendicitis I had ever seen in my lifetime, but the logic of the thing seems to indicate that Mr. Houdini died of appendicitis, the direct result of the injury."

With this in mind, it is interesting to note that since the death was attributed to the blows, Mrs. Houdini received a $50,000 insurance payout rather than the $25,000 that the appendicitis on its own would have yielded. The insurance company looked closely into the matter and accepted the expert testimony of the attending physicians. No matter the cause of the appendicitis, if Houdini had received timely medical attention, his appendix could have been removed before it burst and he might have lived.

But is there more to the story?

I think that the punches were possibly an intentional assault and the resulting death was an accident. Whitehead, the young man who delivered the blows, might have been acting on his own or, perhaps, doing a job for a sinister group of fake mediums.
