What are some tips for grilling steak?

Here are some tips for grilling steak:

Tip #1:- Take the steak out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature about an hour before you cook it

Tip #2:- A few hours before you grill, lightly sprinkle both sides of the steak with salt; put it on a wire rack set on a rimmed baking sheet. The salt helps the cells retain water, guaranteeing juicy meat. Before grilling, make sure you salt a little more again!

Tip #3:- Sprinkle some pepper on it.

Tip #4:- You want a hot side to sear the meat and a not-so-hot side to finish the cooking. If you've got a gas grill, that's easy: Keep one burner on low while the others go full blast. If you're cooking over coals, use your tongs to build a ramp of embers climbing up to one side of the grill to create high-low control.

Tip #5:- I would recommend you using REAL charcoal.

Tip #6:- After you have done your sizzling, let it rest for a few minutes and let the juice spread

Tip #7:- ENJOY!!

How do you cook python meat?

I'm cooking some python meat today, actually. I have 2, 1lb packages of deboned packages of fresh python meat. I am going to cut the stakes into small chunks and saute them in some olive oil for about 5-7 minutes. Then I will add the meat to the wild boar meat I have and make chili out of it all. I have heard that the meat is a bit tough if not cooked long enough so I figure simmering in chili for a few hours will soften it right up.

Does red meat make you fat?

Meat is supposed to be part of your daily diet. Before cooking just cut off the fatty area but too much; beef isn't good for your heart. But fish is very low in fat; you can have a lot of fish - not fried though. Chicken is low in fat. Pork isn't really that good for you in all. This may gross you out but there are worms in pork.

Is it ethical to eat meat?

This is a question you need to answer for yourself. Learn what ethics is and decide if eating meat is morally permissible in your opinion.

I will start you off with Immanuel Kant and the Categorical Imperative

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immanuel_Kant

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Categorical_imperative

In summary: The main idea is to define the essential behavior in question and start with this premise. If this behavior is morally permissible for me to do for the reason that I aim to do it then it must be morally permissible everyone to do this behavior for the same reason.

The questions then present, does this behavior lead to a contradiction (as in stealing for personal gain leads to ownership becoming meaningless and thereby also the act of stealing) and would you think the world resulting from the widespread practice of this behavior good?

And this is only one of many ways to look at ethics. Never let someone else determine your ethics for you. You can learn a great deal from others but ultimately you are the one who must live with the person you decide to become.

It is your own opinion to this question but my opinion is no, it is not ethical to eat meat. Animals are living things and killing them for our own purposes is not ethical. Without meat we can survive.

No. Meat in small doses is good for cancer patients with blood type O and B, but s types A and AB should research themselves. My stepdaughter who is type O and suffers with breast cancer read on the Internet that meat is absolutely 'No-no' for one who has cancer became vegan. There was no animal product in her diet for 2 years. Her cancer from less than 0.5X0,5 cm became a massive whole breast mess, spreads to her bones, lung, ribs. Now she is undergoing radio+chemotherapy, eat meat in small amounts, minute portions of dairy products occasionally, Vit B complex, milk thistle and she feels much better, not bed ridden anymore

Why should you rest your meat after you cook it?

Resting the meat after cooking allows the juices to redistribute. If the meat is cut right away, the condition of the meat fibers forces the juices out and makes the meat dry. Supposedly, letting it sit relaxes the fibers so the meat doesn't come pouring out.

If you ever pierce a burger or roast while it is cooking (as to check for doneness, watch the resulting stream of juices. That does not happen when the meat is allowed to rest.

Where do you store raw and cooked meats?

You can store most raw meats safely in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days, depending on the type of meat. I wouldn't store raw chicken over 1 day, beef for 2 to 3 days, and ham for up to 4 or 5 days. If you need to store it for longer before cooking, your best bet is to freeze it.

What animal is Donner meat?

Donner Kebabs are made from Donner Meat. This is basically a mix of many different meats. Donner meat is mostly lamb, but can contain chicken, beef, turkey, goat or even duck. The meat is usually derived from the cheaper off cuts (such as chicken heads, lamb rump, cow hooves) blended, processed then mixed together. Depending on the restaurant or takeaway the donner kebab will never be the same. Donner Kebabs are very fatty, as animal fat is extremely cheap to buy, as well as a good filler. If you think that I am trying to put you off, I am not. Donner Kebabs may seem disgusting, but if you buy one from a quality restaurant, then it is probably more meat than fat.

Another answer:

As a correction, Donner meat HAS to be lamb. If the meat contains chicken, beef or turkey etc then it is called Kebab Meat. Meaning a takeaway/restaurant that serves it has to sell as Kebab Meat if the meat contains anything other than lamb. It's also a myth that these kebabs contain hooves, heads and other disgusting things. Donner meat is fatty but contains mostly shoulder and breast of a lamb. Lamb breast is not very popular due to its size and the shoulder has quite a lot of fat on it.
