What type of an animal is veal?
By definition any meat coming from a calf who has not yet been weaned is called veal. Calves are separated from their mothers a few days after taking their first few meals (so they can get the anti-body rich colostrum contained in the mother's milk which is produced up to a couple of weeks after birthing) and they are contained in stalls with other baby calves who are only fed milk and grain. This makes their meat lighter in color than adult bovine (cow or steer) flesh and supposedly more tender.
This varies with the meat content of the food. One example indicated 44 calories for 1 meatball, ground beef. (see related link for variations in content)
What meat is in chorizo sausage?
Sausage, (chorizo) in spanish, is made from excess amounts of pig. And the part that pops out from the end of the chorizo is the pig's small intestine.
If meat is thawed and allowed out on a warm countertop for a while, bacterial growth will accelerate. Freezing meat doesn't kill most bacteria, it simply slows their growth. Once you take this refrozen meat out again, the bacteria would resume more rapid growth and could more quickly pose a health risk if the meat was not thoroughly cooked.
If the meat has been thawed in the refrigerator and hasn't been ignored for several days, the meat should be safe to refreeze. But there will be a loss in quality. (See Related Links.) It is generally because of that loss in quality that food service professionals don't want thawed meat refrozen.
Other thawing methods pose different problems with regard to refreezing. Proper handling is key to the safety of any food.
How can you make a tough piece of meat more tender?
Cook it in the crockpot on low all day or use a meat tenderizing hammer and unseasoned meat tenderizer.
Traditional Solution:Cooking low and slow is the answer. This can be accomplished in a crock pot, or in an oven. Try to avoid heating above 300° F, and cook for four or more hours. Using a smoker or charcoal/wood fired barbecue also works well. Just keep a meat thermometer handy, and know how to maintain a constant temperature.

Certainly. However, the cooking time may need to be adjusted. This would be especially true for a pork roast or a piece of meat that is quite thick. You might give it a few minutes defrosting time in the microwave before getting it started.

What is Taco Bell meat made of?
People actually believe the fabricated stories that plaster the internet, probably mostly made up by disgruntled employee's. I am a former employee. I started as a crew member (first job when I was 16 in 1985) I was a district manager when I left to start my own business in 2001. We use to cook the beef fresh in the store, mixed with the original Taco Bell beef seasoning. Taco Bell stopped cooking the beef on location for reasons to help prevent food borne illness. Cooking the beef in a controlled, closely monitored process helps ensure customer safety. Once the beef is cooked in the processing plant it is bagged, refrigerated and shipped to the restaurant where it is easily reheated to the correct temperature (boil in the bag process) It is the same quality USDA inspected ground beef found in your local grocery store. The recipe has not changed since they cooked it fresh in the store a few years back. The rumors and lies circulating the internet about the ingredients are simply untrue. The ingredients are ground beef and seasoning. To my knowledge the seasoning recipe has not changed. It is not much different than what you would find in the common taco seasoning packet at the grocery store. I have absolutely nothing to gain from writing this. I just don't like it when I hear an american icon like Taco Bell taking an unjust bashing. Comparing their food to most ordinary fast food isn't really a fair comparison. Taco Bell is a much healthier food to eat. Too much of anything isn't good for you. But, when I have to make the choice of fast food, I usually choose Taco Bell. it fits much better into my low cholesterol diet.

God gave us eye-teeth for a reason. And it is also stated several dozen times in The Bible, as well as other religious texts - meat is intended to be eaten. If you want to be absolutely sure you are not making any of the gods, or the Lord angry - eat lamb. Lamb is the only meat that is not "banned" by any recognized religion.
Lack of protein and fiber leads to anemia, weak tissue and lowered immune-system response. If you are female, you are at greater risk of iron deficiencey.
I do not have the complete answer, but I want to say that the answer above has no validity. How can you say that since the Bible and Pink Floyd tells you to eat meat it must be good for you?
You can get protein from legumes, beans, salmon (if you don't mind eating fish), yogurt, quinoa, nuts, and several other sources. Same goes for iron. There are plenty of things you can eat to supplement the iron you'd otherwise be getting from a dead cow or chicken. And as for immune-system, take echinacea, excersize, eat healthy vegetarian foods. The above is only true if you live off a McDonald's french fry vegetarian diet.
As far as personal side effects go since I stopped eating meat, I lost 10 pounds, I feel great, I don't have to watch what I eat as much, and did I mention I feel awesome? Oh and I haven't got sick once since I stopped eating it which was over a year ago!
People who don't eat meat can, have and very well might obtain: sight problems, skin problems, blood diseases, mouth diseases, ulcers, fatigue is a big one, memory loss, depression (also a big one), rickets, osteomalacia, poor hair health, Osteoporosis, other bone problems (another big one), intestinal disorders and "easily offended" attitudes. Also from the related link below, it states that: "In an even more comprehensive British study involving nearly 8,000 subjects, a Cambridge University professor now says that children born to vegetarian mothers are up to five times more likely to be born with 'deformities' and other birth defects". The scientist leading the research told a Europe Intelligence Wire reporter that "there is a clear association between child deformities and vegetarianism, and this is a cause for concern."" If that doesn't spark some kind of concern for people especially women who neglect meat in their diet, I think you need a heart. Or some kids. Also, look at those teeth you have. Those pointy ones, yeah, incisors, those are there for a reason, why would you have them if we weren't MEANT to eat meat.
If there's no bad smell, you won't know for sure. If the meat is past its expiration date or has been in the refrigerator over 3 or 4 days, it could be bad. Always remember the adage: If in doubt, throw it out.
