How do you become a pilot after mechanical engineering?
Pilot training is for you to spend your own airplane for the PPL and CPL courses for commercial aircraft.
Which one is best adhesive suitable for silicone gasket?
gaskets exist to eliminate the need for adhesive, you do not need to glue them
What is the standard furnace oil pressure for combustion?
Most standard settings vary between 95psi to 140psi. This depends on what tip size @ angle is being used. Please note that tip size/angle is NOT the only deciding factor!
Orifice plate installation - how much straight pipe should be upstream and downstream?
As a rule of thumb - 10 x pipe diameter upstream, 5 x pipe diameter downstream

Effect of gearing ratio on fuel consumption?
Gear ratios will let the engine run at the speed and load at which it is most efficient, which is good for low fuel consumption and an exhaust that is as clean as possible.
How do you remove cement from the hub of a 3 inch cast iron un-used waste pipe?
A small stick of dynamite comes to mind
State the objectives and application of case-hardened components?
State the objective and application of case-hardened compents.
Explain is endurance of forgings.
What is the max psi in the fuel tank of a 747?
The quick answer is 14.7psi.
The fuel tanks are not pressurised and are vented to atmosphere. So the pressure inside the tank is whatever the ambient pressure outside the aircraft is. Hence the maximum pressure inside the tank will be ambient pressure at sea level, i.e. 14.7psi or thereabouts.
What factor mainly defect welding depth in electron beam welding?
Many factors affect welding depth and penetration, including voltage, material being welded, current, distance from electron gun, vacuum, cleanliness, filament current, and focus.
What is the usage of trigonometry in mechanical engineering?
The usage of trig. in Mechanical Engineering is extensive. Trig. is used in almost every branch of the subject, especially where quantitative answers are needed to real physical problems such as the size of stresses in structural parts or the volume and frequency of a vibration.

How much weight can hot rolled steel 1 x 3 0.120 thickness steel hold?
1x3 being 3 inches square, if the steel you are asking about is A-36 plate, then it would support approx. 50,000 lbs. per square inch. For a total of 150,000 if evenly loaded. After which it will go into plastic deformation. It does not mater as to thickness, rather plastic deformation rate. An interesting side note though. Steel gets stronger the more you mash on it or strech it. So the aforementioned 50,000 lb. rate will quickly jump to 70,000 lbs. or more, upon work hardening. Pretty cool!
When admission open for engineering in dawood university for session 2012?

What determines the location of the origin or datum from which all of the edges and features of an?
To a certain extent, it is arbitrary. The designer chooses based on: -practicality of measuring from datums or origins -critical faces, surfaces, or dimensions -application. Sometimes, datums for a part are kept the same as the ones chosen for the overall assembly, especially if the design is a collaborative effort.
Injection molding courses in Toronto?
Humber College used to teach about injection molding and plastics industry. It was a really great program for someone who wants to be in this field. I don't think any other college or university teach about plastics injection molding anymore.
I wish Humber can start teaching about injection molding again in future.
How important is metal purity in welding?
If you refer to surface purity, very. if there is dirt, oil, rust, paint, even ink, the substance will get into the molten puddle, and weaken the weld. It may also effect the arc current enough to get porosity in the weld (bubbles) and then you are screwed. If you refer to base material purity (i.e. carbon content) Then not much unless you try to weld high carbon to low carbon (i.e. mild steel to cast iron) then you will run into all kinds of problems. heating up high carbon enough will melt low carbon. You may also notice arc fluxuation depending on carbon content.
Associate engineer also known as an assistant engineer. only different company has a different term to name it..
How do you calculate energy input for lifting objects by weight and height lifted?
When an object is lifted to a certain height, the mechanical energy of the person or system lifting the object gets transferred into the potential energy of the object. Thus if an object of mass/weight 'm' is lifted to a height 'h', then the potential energy possed by the object at height 'h' is given as: Potential Energy (P.E)= m*g*h, where g is acceleration due to gravity and whose value is 9.8 m/s2.
How do you check a modulator valve?
first pull off the line going to it and if it has fluid in it change the modulator. Next, take the modulator off and apply vacuum to the line and stick a screw driver in the end of the modulator and see if the diaphragm moves the valve inside. If the valve doesn't move, replace the modualtor.
- i am assuming ford but also you can pull the vac.line off of carb.or wherever it draws the vacume from without getting under car and check for fluid at that point
Consider getting yourself a service manual as it contains many troubleshooting for your car. Comes very handy sometimes.
