Im not a doctor but that has happened to me. I was on the pill for 12 years straight and when that happened the doctor told me that simply that pill wasnt working for me anymore. And that he would have to try me on a diffrent type of pill. I think I went through 3 different kinds till I did go off and had my baby. Then when I went back on the pill after, it was again a different pill.

You could just have a heavy period this month. If it doesn't get lighter or stop within a week, call your doctor.

If you mean a few spots after your periods are over, then it could be normal depending on how the hormones work in your body, otherwise if it is the same bleeding as your periods then something could be the matter, see your gynaecologist.

With enough effort I'm sure you could force a tampon into your urethra, but needless to say it would hurt like hell and likely lead to a urinary tract infection.
