We taped off the molding with that blue painters tape and then used some drywall mud to help "blend" the places where the moldings did touch. It's not for the weak, and a passion for the subject isn't enough to get you through. You will have to take these courses whether you go to a top school like Cornell/Penn State/Oklahoma, or a smaller much less selective school.
