What type of microscope shows all the tooth structures?

A scanning electron microscope (SEM) is the type of microscope that can show all the tooth structures in high detail. It provides three-dimensional images with great depth of field, allowing for the observation of surface textures and fine structural details of teeth. SEM is particularly useful in dental research and materials science for analyzing enamel, dentin, and other tooth components at the micro and nanoscale.

If the back of a 1975 dime is smooth at least a 1-4 inch from the edge but the very center is normal is this a mint error?

It sounds like an error in the coin stamping process. When coins are minted, a round, blank piece of metal is punched out of a strip of flat metal. The flat planchet (the minting term for a blank coin) is then moved along until it is between two steel dies that have the coin's reverse images engraved on it, one side of the die is pressed downward onto the planchet as it rests on the opposite die. Sometimes these dies will come unbolted and rotate or become misaligned and produce a coin with a crooked or off-center image. Coin collectors love these "error" or mint fault coins. It is certainly worth something to the right coin collector. I would put it on eBay and see what happens.

What type of slide is made by placing the specimen in a drop of water on the slide and covering it with a glass slip?

A wet mount slide is made by placing the specimen in a drop of water on the slide and covering it with a glass slip. This technique is commonly used in microscopy to observe living organisms or specimens in their natural hydrated state.

How do you get rid of air bubbles under a newly painted surface?

There is a similar problem when using clear lacquer. I find that the paint brush, even one with fine hairs, leaves a trail of tiny air bubbles. Most of these come to the surface and pop before the surface sets hard. However, there are always some left - which need to be sanded down with 220 grit sandpaper. And then one starts again! I have tried thinning the lacquer, and this helps a bit. I sometimes use a lint free rag, and dip it in the lacquer. This tends to take off most of the lacquer, but leaves very few bubbbles. Of course the best method is to use a spray can, but that needs a warm, dust free place. That is a problem in the Canadian winter. Using paint spray cans indoors is not welcomed by my wife! I do remember my father French polishing wooden instruments, like violins. He used a tight ball of rag, about the size of a golf ball. I think he also put a drop of linseed oil on the rag. That was true craftsmanship, but it looks as if that skill has been lost.

What is another name for ordinary microscope?

A common term for an ordinary microscope is a light microscope, which uses visible light to illuminate and magnify specimens for observation.

What does rabbit DNA look like under a microscope?

You cannot see DNA under a regular microscope. But there are very special microscopes that forensic scientists use.

What is the proper technique for skiing moguls?

You stare at the Black Diamond run in awe and excitement. It is steep and full of moguls. Moguls are large bumps and craters in the ski hill. You need to ski them properly or you are going to crash big time. The main thing is to keep your knees bent to prevent catching air. You also want to keep your core center in balance and use your poles and arms for additional balance. If you have seen this event on TV you will notice that the upper half of their body barely moves while their knees are bent to absorb any shocks. Professional mogul skiers also tend to have extensive knee problems. Avoid leaning back on your heels. When you do this you are setting yourself for take off up into the air. Also avoid leaning to far forward or you will fall head first into a mogul. Good luck!

What did Zacharias Janssen invent?

Zacharias Janssen (Netherlands) invented the telescope and perhaps the compound micoscope in 1590.

Is there an upper limit to magnification using visible light?

Yes, the wavelength of the light limits the maximum magnification of a microscope. Using visible light, the limit is about 1200 to 1500X.
