I am not familiar with the Xerox 2400 but, if you can make a Macintosh running OS X see the scanner, be it by USB, Wifi, Bluetooth, or even the old SCSI interface, there are generic scanner software that should be able to make it work. How well will it work is another question. Just do a search for 'generic scanner software for OS X.' If the scanner is older than, say 10 years, you may have problems with the Macintosh 'seeing' the scanner. It may be much easier to purchase and inexpensive scanner if it is that old.
