What does the symbol for the lighter in the fuse box of a 2007 mini cooper look like?

it's F32 in the passenger fuse box

No. The F32 was correct for the older gen-1 Mini hardtops (R53). For a 2007 (R56) gen-2 Mini Cooper hardtop the fuse at F32 regulates power to heated seats. For the cigarette lighter in the newer models you should change the twenty-amp fuse located at F42. If you're looking at the diagram on the inside of fuse panel (on right, front, passenger side) the lighter/DC power icon looks C with an arrow pointing out of it, and is flanked by a - and + sign.

A panel warning light is on on your 2005 mini cooper s the 3rd from the left between the airbag light and the seatbelt light you don't have a manual to look it up Help?

If it is a yellow light that looks like a plate with three lines around the left side and three around the right, it is a break pad light. It means change your break pads immediately. Also if you go to the following link in google, you will be able to download the owner's manual... http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=mini+cooper+s+2005+shop+manual&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

Temp/speed displayThere should be a small button on top of the turn signal lever on the left side of the steering wheel. Push that down and it will change from speed to temp. Hope this helps...

You recently bought a mini chopper from someone who said it was a 110cc On the motor it is stamped 495cc How can you determine the actuall size of the engine?

You should be able to tell by the physical size of the engine. A 495cc (usally called a 500) would be more than 4 times the size of a 110 and probably more than 1 cylinder. Look more closely at the stamping and see if it is realy 49.5cc which would be a 50cc. Besides, most people won't tell you an engine is 4 times smaller than it is!

Why would the seat belt light stay on in a MINI?

Early MINIs had a recall on the wiring harness underneath the front seats due to it being too short to allow the seats to be moved completely forward (like when you slid the seat forward to get access to the rear seats).

What happens is you move the seat as far forward as they will travel, but the wiring underneath is too short so it breaks the connector.

You MIGHT be able to talk a dealer into covering this for free but you might also get one that won't. Technically, they should.

Normally, this also causes the airbag light to also come on (same harness).

You might have some luck just jiggling the connections which are attached to the front rail of the underside of the seats.

How do you set the clock in a 2006 Mini Cooper?

To set the time in a 2006 Mini Cooper hold down the clock button on the dashboard and wait until the number in the hour position starts blinking. Continue to hold it down until it changes to the correct number. After the hour is changed wait a few seconds and press the clock button again. It will change to the minute position and repeat the same process.

How do you access the bottom radiator hose and where is the antifreeze drain plug on a 1990 mini cooper?

If its an original radiator there may not be a drain plug on it and pulling the bottom hose will achieve the same result (and mess). The bottom hose is no fun regardless of your skill level. It needs a very long screwdriver or 1/4 drive socket set to get access down from the top.
