I had a ultrasound scan at 7 weeks 3 days, and the pregnancy sac was visible, but my doctor could not find the fetal pole or heartbeat. I went to the ER on Saturday (I should have been 5 weeks exactly) with cramping and a HR 130. I have never had any bleeding. The ER docs thought my baby was in a tube. When I went to my scheduled U/S on the following Wednesday, the Radiologist thought that the baby was supposed to measure 6 weeks 1 day... she said that there was no heartbeat and that the u/s had not changed that much from Saturday... she called it a failed pregnancy. I went immediately to my fertility doctor, who calculated from my date of ovulation (I had artificial insemination, so I know when i ovulated)... he said that I was 5 weeks and 4 days on WEDNESDAY... but he said you should see a embryo by 5 weeks and 4 days... he said I have a 66% of miscarriage. I have to go back in a week for another u/s... Has anyone else gone through this? Does an u/s really change that much in 4 days?

or you could be pregnant. do a home pg test if + see a doctor, if - wait a 1 week after your period id due and test again. It depends by what you mean by "a few weeks ago". If it was in the past 10 - 12 days that you had your period, what you are probably seeing now is the beginning of ovulation for your cycle, so it is probably unlikely that you were pregnant.

so as you not bleeding your still open so you can get pregnant within of week after you have miscarried.

A lot of women have used castor oil to induce labor (including me). What it does is cause your bowels to cramp witch in turn can irritate the uterus and cause contractions that may or may not lead to labor. Some people say that taking castor oil can cause the baby to have a bowl movement witch is harmful to baby, but the oil it self does not cross over to the placenta and lots of women have had success from using it. So it is totally your choice way your options, and remember to walk walk walk! and if at all possible have sex it is the best way to induce labor at home!

I was 10 weeks 5 days pregant and had a ultrasound, it showed the baby had died of turner syndrome at 8 weeks...My body had not expelled the fetus, nor showed any signs of doing so..I ended up have to D & C's...so my body held that baby for 2 weeks I was almost 12 weeks pregnant and then started showing signs of miscarriage, an ultrasound showed that the fetus stopped developing at 5 weeks. That means it took 7 weeks for my body to expell it.

I assume you had your x-ray just before you missed your period. You should have been asked when your last period was and given an apron to wear if there was any possibility you were pregnant. If this did not happen you need to see a doctor. The baby may be fine, but at this early stage it is developing very rapidly so it is impossibe to say.

If the bleeding increases in intensity, and is accompanied by cramping, then get to your doctor right away ... as this is a key sign of a miscarriage. i am 7weeks pregnant my first, i started spotting when i was 6weeks pregnant... i woke up in the morning and found brown in my PJ's it was just like a normal period but brown... i was so sceard... i phoned my midwife up and left a message and i had no reply so i phoned again and she told me that i have to go strait to the hospital... so i went to the hospital they said every think is normal and feels okay but if the spotting goes any worse and starts to go red then i have to be rushed into hospital... i had the scan to days after the hospital scear and they said the baby is fine... but i don't no what to do at the moment as i am still spotting...
