First of all mostly white/western people know nothing about Ninjutsu or Ninja and they decide to make up something stupid n post in the internet or make a show out of what they know about ninjas(nothing).

They dont wear shoes, they wear metal foot guards (they dont have protiction on the pads, for theyre trained to withstand the pain) that sometime connect to the shin guards, cloth or metal mask that cover only the neck, mouth and nose and nightvision, vision enhacning goggles. They act mainly like stealth mercernaries, sometimes they are for hire
