Ninja Assassin is a movie about..Well. There is a man who takes little kids from their families and orphans off the street and trains them to become ninjas. He has great power. He gets one boy, (By the name of Raizo) into the clan. He got him up off the streets bche was an orphan..He sees great power in Raizo from the start, and trains him harder than anyone else. After his first assassin, they tried to get him to kill a girl who tried running away. (He didn't do it because of something that happened earlier in the movie) So he slashed the powerful dudes face, and that made him a betrayer. So he became an enemy to his clan and the clan tried and tried to hunt and kill him. So a researcher lady starts getting hunt by the clan too (Why? Have no answer bc they are ninjas they just kill for no reason) and Raizo starts protecting her, and saving her and stuff. Those are the basics

I agree more with the last bolded answer than the ones above. Ninjas are considered super cool because of their fighting skill, mostly. They rely on stealth, speed, and power to destroy the opponent. Put emphasis on the stealth. Possibly the coolest part is that ninjas were actually real. Ninjas were mostly spies in ancient japan but also some were hired to be assassins, giving them a bad reputation.

And now if you want a less smart answer, they're cool cuz they kill people with sticks in less than 10 seconds.

Real History of there Awseomnes

During 15centuary Sengoku era when each state ruled by a daimyo(warlord) fought for controll over Japan and to win was to be tittled "Shogun"(The ruler over the the whole millitary force of Japan).

The ninja begun when a chinese monk who escaped the invasion of Beijing and landed by boat to Japan and met with a disgraced samurai in the mountains of Iga province and fused each otheres arts creating Ninjutsu(the art of stealth).

Ninjutsu was thought to the families of the mountains who were farmers and formed secret societies and only thought ninjutsu to son or daughter.

It was used to protect them selves from bandits, opposing samurai and even rebeling when the taxes became to high.

The weapons were descised into farming tools and there farming tools were turned in to weapons which was effective in suprise attacks and defending them selves

If your a daimyo and you need your own seal team, secret agents or body gaurdes then the ninja was your best choice since you can higher them to assassinate enemy daimyo or enemy generalls, gather intelligence about the enemy

Any one can be a ninja, all you need is to do is study ninjutsu(art of stealth) the martial art of the ninja. Then you will be considered as a ninja.

They will teach you how to kill in 1 touch(preashure points), How to turn close by objects in to weapons, how to defeat opponents without effort as fast as possible, How to make smoke bombs, Stealth tactics and so much more. The art is desinged for any one with. This is the power of ninjutsu.

First off I would like to educate you a little on your question the "ninja-to" is an American term if you want to sound like you know what your saying then you should use the legitemit term "shinobigatana" also for the users of said weapons arent called "ninja" the Proper term is "shinobi" I've been training in ninjutsu and kendo for 7 years now and as I keep telling new students " fear not the weapon, but the hand that weilds it." this meaning it depends on the characteristics you are looking for in a sword so, it's up to you to find the answer for yourself.

On April 20th, 1999, two disgruntled students - Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris - entered Columbine High School in Columbine, Colorado and began shooting in a discriminatory and non-discriminatory fashion at students and teachers (some people were targeted, others were not).
