Hi. Check fuse #26 in the interior left side fuse box. I have a 97 Maxima and found that it that to be the problem.

It is right on top of the block, you have to remove the manifold and fuel injectors to get to it.

Remove the dipstick for the transmission. Place funnel in the dipstick hole. Fill to the correct level.

Buy the HAYNES REPAIR MANUAL for the MERCURY VILLAGER and NISSAN QUEST (1993-1998)from any auto parts store and look on page 62 in section 12. If I knew how I would post the diagram for you. Maybe I'll try it later.

If it is completely drained and flushed, about 9-10 quarts. If you just drained the transmission pan from the drain plug, about 4 quarts.

Chek the coolant sensor plug and others sensor in the same area to see if the are broken,unplugged or dirty

It depends on the year, make, model of the car as well as what quality level of pads & rotors you want.

If you are doing it yourself you can call and auto parts store and give them the above information and they can give you prices. If you are having a shop do the work there will be labor added to the cost which also varies depending on the above information.
