Going to drama school will deffintly help you develop your skills and techniques. Some theaters wont even look at you without a degree. As for becoming an acrtress.... You just have to go on audtions, and keep going until someone likes what you do. If you are good then someone will like what you do and hire you.

At the spin jam I go to weekly in my area of New York, there is a ten-year-old that out- spins/ burns/ juggles most of the rest of us older kids (e.g. adults). He comes with his soccer mom, who supervises his every move and makes sure he has a safety blanket down at all times. She cheers him on like he's at, well, a winning soccer match.

Are there any laws about age for fire performance? No. Not in the U.S.. Age restrictions at specific burns/ events? Probably at some, and probably most without supervision from a designated guardian.

I mean, I can't fathom letting either of my two kids lighting a pair of poi on fire until they're at least twelve, and only after several years of solid practice without flame.

One of my chores as a kid was to keep up the fire in our wood stove, and cook over a gas stove as early as six years old and Mom never got a ticket, but if you are thinking of playing with fire for fun and are under sixteen, make sure you have a world of safety knowledge, practice, and a competent supervising adult. If you're an adult thinking of letting your kid play with fire, be knowledgeable of safety and egg on the practice as well.

ALWAYS REMEMBER: Fire performance is NOT just an illusionary stunt, its actually potentially dangerous. Expect to get burned. Also, I and probably a world of burners don't recommend fire breathing/ spitting to ANYONE under age, if not anyone at all with a confident, experienced fire player as this is a performance type that can kill a person in half of a second with a mere unsuspected shift in wind direction, not to mention the damage it does to your lungs over a period of time if you GET lucky enough to fire breath over a period of time without sudden damage. Not trying to "blow out the flame" on fire breathing per say, many of my friends fire breath and I have much respect for it, but it is definitely meant soley for the professional, dedicated, and OF AGE performer.

Tinikling is one of a foreign folk dances in the Philippines.
