The 1.4 is a single line 4 cylinder diesel. It will have only one cam belt.

The vehicle doesnt really matter...its the quality of the break pads that you buy.

Plip battery is the battery on the remote control of your car. If the battery is going to run out soon, the car gives you a warning "plip battery spent". You need to chamge the battery.

Weird, you should probably take it to a mechanic.

Yes the problem is that after replacing Old battery to the New, my Pug307 not starting, radio and all inside electronic is funcioning normaly, but starter is quite :(

on right hand side under drivers footwell there,s a black lever, you have to pull it towards you and you will feel it and hear it pop open. i just sold mine after 3yrs of ownership

I'm assuming you mean at the BACK of the wheel. There will be 2 'Torx' screws at the bottom of the holes (there were in my wife's 406). The holes are quite deep and the screws are difficult to see.

ive just removed mine.its a little tricky but make sure you remove or disconnect your battery first.there is 2 small holes to the rear of the housing.i used 2 very thin but long flat screwdrivers.push them both in and if you push them both to the direction of the windows feeling your way you will find that they are spring loaded.keep at it,took me quite a while,whilst gently pulling the airbag towards you.eventually it will give and removes the airbag so you can gain access to the steering wheel locking nut.im guessing your changing the indicator stalk which is the most common problem on 307's 51 onward.hope this helps.

If it is a diesel then it is behind the radiator under the diesel filter, it is a awkward position!

you have to take the heater motor out which twists out it is behind the glove box on the right hand side, the resistor is located inside the housing for the heater motor, you have to put your hand in and it needs to be twisted out. if your heaters are not working but sometimes work when going over a bump it will be your wire going into the resistor. had same prob on mine.

if you look under the car there should be a pan looking thing. if there is take it off it should be under there im not really sure about this car. i could look it up though.

A cheap used peugeot 307 will run about 60K. dollars depending on mileage and condition of exterior and interior. These cars are very hard to find because they were discontinued due to manufacturing glitch.

On an M reg 106 1.5D it is surprisingly easy. The odd shaped Peugeot radio fits in a standard radio slot. To be honest the easiest thing to do it take it to a Peugeot dealer and ask them nicely to remove it - it will take them thirty seconds using the special tool. Alternatively the Haynes manual tells you how to make up a pair of tools to do the job. A long flat key is slid down each side of the radio and hooks behind the retaining lugs. Get them in place properly and the radio "just" slides out. Replacement radio just slots in, though you will need a conversion kit for the electrics, or to do some soldering.

with two screwdrivers and a knife just anchor a screwdriver in either side and then un clip the latches with the knife

For the majority of the standard stereos two 'flat keys' are required if you head to you nearest halfords/motor store they're bound to have some and theres a good chance you can just borrow them to rip out the stereo...I don't know how easy they are on different models but my 2000 Zest 2 was virtually welded in lol so may have to involve a screwdriver to get some leverage.

On my 206 (petrol c 2003) the following worked. Insert a pair of small screwdrivers about 3cm in the two holes on the right (until you feel them contact the spring catches) & a thin flat blade between the radio and the trim. Press the screwdrivers outwards to release the catches and gentle east the right hand end of the radio out a cm or so with the help of the blade. Then repeat at the left end. Repeat once more at each end if you need to & then radio should slide out.

you need to remove front passenger side wheel, remove wing lining by taking out retaining clips, push a thin screwdriver into them and take them out carefully as you will need them to put the lining back in. In the space you have created you will see the pump up to the left of that.

disconnect it - jump the plugs at the ignition - fuse unit out off you go - or take 2/4 3/4 and short out the bti unit

Its easy to do but you need to remove battery first as it is under it. Important to follow procedure for removing battery first Battery Disconnection Procedure From hereon in the soft boot procedure will be described as the '3 Minute Rule'

PROCEDURE FOR BATTERY DIS-CONNECTION (The 3 Minute Rule)

Whenever a vehicle battery has to be dis-connected, switch off all equipment,

interior lights etc, close the doors leaving the drivers window open.

Switch off the ignition and remove the key and any DIAG equipment.

Wait a full 3 minutes before disconnecting the battery.

The BSi must be allowed to go to SLEEP i.e. into "power save mode". Do not

operate any equipment on the vehicle during this time. Remember, even

opening the bonnet will wake the BSi on a vehicle fitted with alarm.

If the battery is under the bonnet, open the bonnet first and leave it up. 807

batteries can be dis-connected through the drivers window, remove floor cover

first. (note, Pics are under the passenger seat)

ALWAYS disconnect any DIAG equipment and do not operate any plips from

other vehicles during the 3 minute waiting period.

PROCEDURE FOR BATTERY RECONNECTION

Unless otherwise instructed by Product Service, you must always

carry out the following procedure, often referred to as a "soft re-boot", to

minimise the possibility of the BSi corrupting its own software when

reconnecting the vehicles battery supply.

Ensure the procedure for battery disconnection has been adhered to and

importantly all BSi functions were switched off with the drivers window left

down.

1 Close all doors

2 Remove ignition key if left in ignition

3 Reconnect battery. DO NOT open any doors

4 Wait 10 seconds

5 Switch on headlights through the drivers window (you will hear a "bong") (note: Snap-on says Side-lights)

6 Switch on ignition then start the vehicle and check system functions

NOTE: Upon reconnection, if any vehicle function controlled by the BSi i.e .

interior light is switched on,the internal operation of the BSi has the potential

to spike or corrupt its configuration and software program......

This makes it difficult to fault find the BSI circuit board live. The danger seems to be whilst trying to find a simple indicator fault we could end up with a vehicle off the road or windows stuck down due to software corruption.
